Maimi takes a trip back in time on her day off in her February 4th update “After countless years…(≧∇≦)“. Full translation below.

Good morning

Yesterday I fully enjoyed my day off with my close friend

It was our first time meeting this year
“Happy New Year~” lol

Cirque du Soleil’s “TOTEM” started, so we wanted to go see it,

but by the time we realized it, it was already too late…

We couldn’t get tickets

We gave up on “TOTEM”,
and the 2 of us went to Ooedo Onsen Monogatari

Mai-chan went earlier and said “It was fun“, so I became interested

I loved the old-time atmosphere so much

It reminded me of the times I went to festivals as a child

I loved doing diecutting

I was unsuccessful no matter how many times I tried,

so I became frustrated,
and my allowance disappeared as I tried over and over again(^◇^;)

I remember my brother sharing his allowance with me after I ran out…

 

I spotted diecutting at Ooedo Onsen

It made me feel so nostalgic

By the way, it seems it was my close friend’s first time seeing diecutting

She got really into it too

You can try 2 pieces each time,
and my friend tried it 3 timeslol

You get a prize when successful,

so my close friend was enthusiastic saying “Oh Alright, I want a ‘Gudetama’“

However, it always broke it when she got close to finishing…

She gave up and begged
“Mai-tan, get me a ‘Gudetama’“!! lol

 

I was down to my last one,
but I was fired up thinking “Alright Leave it to me~“! lol

My close friend is always sociable,
so she asked the staff “Big brother, big sister, which one is the easiest?“,

and I joined the conversation asking “How can I do it well?“,

and they told me “Cut all of it equally steady”

so I took my time cutting

Tadaaaa

My first successful diecutting ever
I’m happy

While I was doing it,
my friend came back from somewhere saying

“Here A present~“,
and gave me a cucumber＼(^o^)／

And then, just as planned,
I was able to give my friend “Gudetama”~

There were a lot of other fun things,
so I’ll write about them in a later update~
