Blog update: “Mexico 4th day!”
Maimi performs for the fans in Mexico in climax of ℃-ute’s Mexico trip in her September 28th update “Mexico 4th day!“. Full translation below.
The 4th day in Mexico
It was the day we had been waiting for,
the day of our concert in MexicoBefore we appeared, everyone’s cheering reached all the way to the dressing room, so we could feel their hot power even before we met them
Their cheering to the Spanish introduction we recorded in Japan together with our appearance on stage was so incredibly loud that it drowned out the intro(≧∇≦)
I was really happy as I thought “They’re so welcoming(T ^ T)
“ヽ(;▽;)ノ
For the concert,
we performed songs from the album that was on sale in Mexico
It’s made up of 18 songs voted on by the members of team ℃-ute in MexicoWe performed those 18 songs plus others,
and everyone cheered excitedly for each song,
so even I felt movedMexico’s elevation is high,
so I heard for a long time “It’s likely you’ll suffer from oxygen deprivation!!”,and maybe because I went all-out from the beginning because I was excited to meet everyone,
I became exhausted in no time
But I thought “No
I can’t collapse here
“,
and I was able to get through it with the power from everyone’s smiles
I was relieved when we were able to make it to the end without any problems(T ^ T)
The power we were given by everyone was big~
However, I felt regret that I became so exhausted, so I want to try getting revenge
When we sang “Gamusha LIFE” in the second half of the concert,
I thought “Even though we live in different places, we can feel the same warm feeling through music”
and “I’m happy“,
so I felt like I was going to cry(。>0<。)During the encore call,
all of the members were saying“I feel like I’m going to cry right now
“,
so I thought “As expected, everyone felt the same thing
“
In addition, for the encore,
everyone sang the chant “Olé olé olé” that you can often hear in soccer,so I experienced the kind of cheering we could only experience in Mexico
This time we did the MCs in Spanish,
and we said “Vamos a tomarnos una foto okay?
(Let’s take a photo together!!)”,and took a memorial photo
When everyone reacted like they understood the Spanish we had practiced,I was really happy
I wonder what everyone in the picture is doing now and where they are?( ´ ▽ ` )ノ
Though it was a concert in Mexico,
people gathered from so many different countries, and there were people who said “I came from California!”,
people who came from Peru, and people who came all the way running all the way from Japan(>人<)
The worldwide audience was fresh
Everyone who participated, thank you so much
I was grateful to hear the news that all the tickets had sold out.
I think there are also people wanted to participate but couldn’t(>人<;)
Thank you to all of you who supported us anyway
We’ll work hard towards our goal of meeting team ℃-ute all over,
so please wait for us
It’s been 11 years since our formation,
and we were able to do something we aspired to!Back when we formed, I never thought that we’d be able to have a concert in Mexico,
but if you continue doing something for a long time,
surely many miraculous things will happenI’m grateful to the many people who gave us this opportunity,
and the Mexico performance once again made me think “I want to keep seeing new sights”
I’m happy
This update became long,
but next I’ll write about the 5th day in Mexico…
Look forward to it~
