Blog update: “It’s better to blow on it like this then eat ε-(´∀`)lol”

Maimi takes a long trip down memory lane while in Yamanashi for the NaruChika concerts in her May 3rd update “It’s better to blow on it like this then eat ε-(´∀`)lol“. Full translation below.

The NaruChika concerts in Yamanashi have finished~~(・∀・)

The weather was nice today, so it was the best weather for a concert

On a day with weather this nice…

We ate outside

Eating out in the open felt great v(^-^)v

Warm weather is the best(((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))

There were 2 performances of today’s NaruChika concert( ´ ▽ ` )

I wonder if it’s because of the weather,
but it was hot and I started to sweat as soon as the concert started(^◇^;)lol

There were a lot of guys and girls,
and probably because it’s Golden Week, there were also little kids,

and seeing them wave their glow sticks with all their might and hearing them call out our names made me really happy(〃∇〃)

Yamanashi is known for Mt. Fuji,
the Fujikyuu highland,
and its fruit(≧▽≦)

Listen, about Mt. Fuji
For a program I was on,
I rode a bike halfway up the mountain(・∀・)

The last part was really tough,
but since I had gotten that far, I wanted to walk the rest of the way to the topσ(^_^;)

I’ve yet to climb Mt. Fuji…

I’d like to try it sometime(≧▽≦)

And then, I’ve been to the Fujikyuu highlands countless times

My family stayed here around the time I was in middle school(≧▽≦)

I played a lot beginning in the morning

I talked about it in the MC too,
but my brothers and I entered a haunted house called the “Hair-raising Maze”

My brothers were walking in front of and behind me, but at the final climax…

I heard the group in front of us screaming from the other side of the door,

and I sensed that something out of the ordinary would happen,

so the instant the door opened, I ran for my life to the exit(°Д°;≡°Д°;)

The confused ghosts turned and chased after me,

and it seems my brothers only saw the backs of the ghosts,

so the ghosts didn’t threaten them at all,

and I remember them saying “Maimi ruined the end for us( ̄^ ̄)”(^◇^;)

I’ve hated haunted houses since then,
and I won’t enter one by choice~σ(^_^;)

Lake Kawaguchi was on the way home,
and we stopped there and my brothers fished(ノ´▽`)ノ

I couldn’t touch the fish,
so I just watched,

but at the end all of my family rode a boat like I rode on yesterday,
and I remember it feeling really, really nice(・∀・)

Also!
Before I graduated middle school, in order to make some memories with my close friend before we wouldn’t be able to meet every day like we had been,

my mom took us to Fujikyuu

I remember that at the same time as our car arrived,
it started raining heavily,

and we hadn’t entered the park yet,
so we gave up thinking “Surely they’ll shut down all the roller coasters in these conditions“,

and we turned around_| ̄|○

After we turned back and got on the freeway, the rain stopped!

In the end, even though it was the afternoon,
we went to Tokyo Disney Land( ̄□ ̄;)!!

That friend was the one I hung out with yesterday,
and I’m glad that even now there are days we’re able to meet up and hang out

In addition!
While I’m on the subject,

afterwards I went to Fujikyuu highlands with another close friend

The sky was really clear that day

While excited thinking “We’ll definitely be able to ride it today(≧▽≦)”, we lined up for the roller coaster “FUJIYAMA”o(^^o)(o^^)o

After a short while,

“Drip… drip… drip, drip, drip, drip”

“Fwoooooooosh!!”

It started seriously rainingΣ( ̄。 ̄ノ)ノ

Even so, we weren’t discouraged(>_<)

I thought “We’ve come all this way
I don’t want it to end like last time(;_;)”,

so we toughed it out and waited in line in the rain,

and our turn finally came…(((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))

As I was thinking “We’re going to get to ride it(≧▽≦)”,

suddenly an announcement came on and said

“Operations are being suspended!”…

Noooooooo(O_O)ooooooooooo…

How unlucky…

It was really frustrating,
but since we had already waited for 2 hours,

we continued to wait there for the rain to stop。゚(T^T)゚。

However, there were no indications it would…

Instead,

it started thundering,

and I saw the reflection of the lightning on the rail( ゚ ▽ ゚ 😉

This is…

Let’s give up( °д°)

It was really scary,
so we went home(´・_・`)

But later on,
that girl and I went to Fujikyuu again and got our revenge

I think it was around the time the roller coast “Ee Janai Ka” was built?v(^-^)v

I rode it a lot with my close friend,
and for some reason my dad toolol

A~~h
It was fun(≧▽≦)

Our story had a happy ending afterall(・∀・)lol

Well, the weather can change quickly on a mountain, rightσ(^_^;)

The update became long while I was talking about my Yamanashi memories(;^ω^A

I have a lot(≧▽≦)

I made another memory coming with ℃-ute for the NaruChika concerts today о(ж>▽<)y ☆

In the evening,
we ate the houdou made for us by the staff at the venue(ノ´▽`)ノ

I think it was my first time having it

It was really, really delicious,

and I was happy as can be eating it outside with everyone

Nacky-san serving houtou

Let’s eat(^_-)☆

When I did rapid shooting, the pictures turned out like this:*:・( ̄∀ ̄)・:*:lol

Houtou banzaaaaaai

I had a lot of helpings,
so my stomach was satisfied,
and it felt good outside, so I started dozing off

I hope we can come to Yamanashi again(≧▽≦)

Everyone who participated,
everyone who couldn’t but supported us, thank you(・∀・)

  1. The title in Japanese reads “Kou, fuu fuu shite, taberu to ii yo”, with Koufu being the city where their concert was held.

  2. The truly great thing about this is the amazing powers of Rain Girl Maimi — she really is the most powerful Rain Girl of her generation.
A friend of mine who lives in California wants C-ute to perform there — not because she likes them, but because of Maimi’s extraordinary powers…
