Maimi puts on a concert close to home, wishes a Berryz member a happy birthday, and reacts to Tsunku♂’s tragic news in her April 4th update “Kawaguchi~ヽ(；▽；)ノ“. Full translation below.

Today was full of happiness( ´ ▽ ` )
We had a ℃-ute concert in my hometown of Saitama(((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))

 

A lot of people participated at the handshake at the venue in the morning too<img class="alignnone"

I wonder if they woke up early for ℃-ute’s sake~( ´ ▽ ` ) I’m happy\(//∇//)\

And then, the concert performance!!
There was a 2 week break since our previous performance on the spring tour in Zama,

and I was nervous since it felt like it had been a long time,
but as expected,
everyone’s smiles gave me power when I was standing on stage

Both the noon and evening performances were really, really hot concerts

It was all thanks to everyone’s support(≧∇≦)

The sound of everyone singing during our new song “Gamusha LIFE” nearly made me cry each and every time(´・ω・`)

The staff who came to watch and the staff who work on the tour said

“It’s amazing how the venue becomes one It’s moving(´□｀｡)”,

and those words made me so happy<img class="alignnone"

Thank you so much to everyone｡ﾟ(T^T)ﾟ｡

Thanks to all of everyone’s support,
the tickets were sold out,
so I think there were a lot of people who couldn’t participate,

but I wonder if our feelings became one with all of you too

I hope everyone was able to make fun memories of our hometown Saitamaヾ(＠^▽^＠)ﾉ

 

After the concert,
I felt euphoric and tired at the same time, and now I’m satisfied (o^^o)

I worked up a nice sweat today♪( ´θ｀)ノ

I had jamocha coffee ice cream which Hagiwara Mai-chan’s mama gave us~\(//∇//)\

Thank you to Hagi-chan’s mama( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ
They were delicious*\(^o^)/*

Actually,
my hometown friends came today as well(((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))

The 4 of them waved their red ℃-ute glowsticks o(^▽^)o

At the end, they used all 5 colors(≧▽≦)

They also sent me e-mails with their impressions,

and my close friend has recently been busy starting her new life,
and she’s been working hard…

So she said “I was filled with emotion when I heard ‘Tsugi no Kado wo Magare’, and I started crying(._.)”…

 

In addition, she wrote

“I thought ‘I don’t want the concert to end‘
and ‘I want to watch a concert tomorrow too‘ヽ(；▽；)ノ”

When someone is suffering or troubled,
helping motivate them, helping them feel at ease,
helping them forget their difficulties in that moment…

I’m happy to have a job where I can do that

My close friends and all the fans have helped me and saved me a lot,

so I want all of you to smile happily<img class="alignnone"

And then, tomorrow at Aeon Mall Makuharishintoshin Grand Court,
at 1:30PM and 4:30PM,

we will have a release commemoration mini-concert & handshake event for the triple A-side single that just came out April 1st,

“The Middle Management ~Josei Chuukankanrishoku~/Gamusha LIFE/Tsugi no Kado wo Magare”

I’ll be happy if those who have the time come and hang out
We’re waiting for a lot of people to participate

Today is Sugaya Risako-chan’s birthday, and I wonder how her first day as a 21-year-old was(*^^*)

I’ve only talked to her through-email,
but she seemed to be doing well, so I was happy

Have a wonderful year…

 

And then,
it was announced today that Tsunku♂-san had surgery to remove his cancer and can no longer speak.

When he met with us,
he would always type out what he wanted to say on his cell phone.

I could tell from what he typed that he is always thinking of us a lot.

Tsunku♂-san wrote the lyrics for “The Middle Management ~Josei Chuukankanrishoku~”,

and the lyrics could have only been written by him who has watched over us for many years, so I was really happy.

I’m grateful that we can sing the songs written by Tsunku♂-san, and I want to continue to sing and cherish them!!
