Maimi enjoys a meal with her mom and makes several trips to the theater in her March 15th update “Plays(o^^o)“. Full translation below.

Good afternoon
It’s Maimi

After work yesterday,
I went with my mom to eat shabu-shabu(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

I found a delicious restaurant,
and I had always wanted to take her there

Well, I also wanted to eat there again♪( ´θ｀)ノ

The white soy sauce is rea~lly delicious

My mom was also delighted saying
“It’s refreshing and yummy~( ´ ▽ ` )“

The last time I went, they gave me a coupon

There was an easy to follow map on the coupon, and since my memory of where it was was hazy, I went to the restaurant while looking at the map

Unfortunately the coupon expired the month before,
but perhaps because I had left it sitting on top of the table,

when I paid they asked
“Huh? Aren’t you going to use the coupon?”(；゜０゜)

When I responded “Ah(；゜０゜) This already expired, so it’s okay“,

they said “Alright, I’ll extend the expiration date on the next one by a month(*^^*)“,

and they did just that and gave me a new coupon!(^^)

It seemed the staff remembered me from the last time,

as they asked “Um, did you come before too??(^.^)”

I think the previous time was at the end of the year?
The female stage director I worked with on the plays “Ran” and “Taklamakan” invited me out to eat, and I said “I love shabu-shabu(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))”, so she took me to that store

The restaurant was in the basement of the building,

and even though the store didn’t open until 5:00PM, we didn’t have anything else to do and it was cold outside,

so the 2 of us waited in front of the store for it to open(^◇^;)

And then, a staff member came,
and even though it was before the store opened, they let us in(T_T)

Did the staff member remember me from then??

When I said “Ah! Yes(o^^o) It was delicious, so I brought my mom~…“,

they responded “Thank you(o^^o)
Please be sure to come again“

Of course

Tokunaga Chinami-chan loves shabu-shabu, so I said to her

“I found a delicious shabu-shabu restaurant, so let’s go together next time“,

and she responded “Wow(o^^o) Let’s go Let’s go“, so we’ve already promised to

Next time I’ve gotta go before the coupon expires! lol

Towards the end,
my mom said “I’m stuffed“,

so I responded “Don’t push yourself(^.^)
I can still eat more!(￣▽￣)“,

but even still, she kept eating…!lol

When she was finished, she started saying “It hurts“! lol
The shabu-shabu was really delicious, and it was fun to eat with my mom

 

Alright
I mentioned plays earlier,
and speaking of which,

the other day I went to see the theatrical troupe Sanpo Douraku’s final performance “Geji Geji”,

and Otona no Mugicha’s “Mitomete, Doushitemo Hoshikute”

They were both held in Shimokitazawa,

and up to this point,
Sanpo Douraku have worked with ℃-ute countless times,

and they’ve been the troupe we’ve worked with the most

When they announced their breakup, I was shocked and sad at the same time,

but the play didn’t make me feel that way at all,
and was characteristic of writer/director Ohta-san

I think there were a lot of messages in it,

and it made me think a variety of things like
“Everyone has a variety of sides to themselves, and live while repeatingly struggling~“,

and “What is true strength”

The play gave me a really strange feeling like I was going to be absorbed into the world,

and there were parts that overlapped with my life,
and I also felt like I got to see a world that I was unaware of

After the performance, I met with everyone in the troupe for the first time in a while,

and they were as bright and carefree as always, so I wouldn’t have thought they just had their last performance

Thank you for all your hard work these 17 years!

I’m looking forward to the day we can meet and work together again

 

And then,
Otona no Muchiga is a troupe that ℃-ute has worked with countless times since our first play

Each of the performers had a highlight and their individual stories,

so I felt there were a lot of messages in this play too

It made me think “I need to treasure important people“!

Everyone is living for and thinking of someone else,

and there’s not a single person who can be replaced by another person.

Therefore,
each person needs to have confidence in themselves…

I greeted everyone in Otona no Mugicha after the play,
and they always have a warm atmosphere

It seems Izumi Shuuhei-san is going to leave Otona no Mugicha after his performances in “Mitomete, Doushitemo Hoshikute”.

I’ve co-starred with Izumi-san in countless plays and dramas,
and he is kind and impressive in the way he seriously tackles plays!

Please keep running as passionately as you always have as a member of Otona no Mugicha until the closing day on the 22nd!
