Blog update: “Running far ahead!!”

Maimi returns to the prefecture of her first job and wraps up her epic conversation for Hello! Station in her February 19th update “Running far ahead“. Full translation below.

Good afternoon
It’s Maimi

Yesterday we had a NaruChika concert in Gunma(^-^)

Speaking of Gunma,
it’s where we filmed the movie “Koinu Dan no Monogatari”,

our first job after passing the Hello! Project Kids audition

The school that appears in the movie was a closed school in Gunma

After we gathered in the city, everyone rode a large bus to Gunma…

Berryz Koubou’s Tokunaga Chinami-chan sat next to me in the bus, and the 2 of us ate nothing but crisp plums~! lol(^◇^;)

I wonder where that school is in Gunma

I want to go there again~(o^^o)

Actually, when we were planning my solo Blu-ray with the theme of “nostalgic locations”,

Gunma was a candidate(*^^*)

In the end, we went to Okinawa where I shot my 1st photobook

But I really want to go someday

We asked everyone at the NaruChika concert “Is the school still there?“,

and I was relieved when they said “It is(*^^*)”

Gunma is unexpectedly close
If I go to that place, I bet I’ll be flooded with memories…

A lot of people came to Gunma, a place full of memories for us, in spite of the rain(^o^)/*

I wrote it in yesterday’s blog too,
but we performed “Tsugi no Kado wo Magare” and “The Middle Management ~Josei Chuukankanrishoku~”,

from our single coming out April 1st, “Tsugi no Kado wo Magare/Gamushara LIFE/The Middle Management ~Josei Chuukankanrishoku~” (song order pending)

Every time we debut a new song, I’m nervous
Everyone who heard them, what were your impressions?

I hope a lot of people will love the new songs…

And then, we ate Gunma’s specialty torimeshi in the dressing room~(o^^o)

(1)

The meat covered in sauce was reaaaaally delicious, and the rice that soaked up the sauce was reaaaaally delicious too( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

Also, Gunma is known for it’s daruma, so the train station and our dressing room were decorated with daruma(o^^o)

(2)

A sheep daruma… Isn’t it cute

We found an udon restaurant at the station on our way back and decided “Let’s eat in 10 minutes( *`・∇・´)“,

and we ate in a hurrylol
We just barely made our train♪( ´θ`)ノlol

But the udon was delicious

It was just like the “Dance de Bakoon!” lyrics, “Eating udon on the way home~( ´ ▽ ` )”

Gunma was really fun

Everyone who participated, everyone who supported us even though you couldn’t, thank you so very much

Afterwards, Berryz Koubou’s Shimizu Saki-chan and I recorded the last of our conversation that’s currently showing on the YouTube program “Hello! Station”

(3)

Saki and I finally finished

Berryz Koubou will suspend their activities on March 3rd, so when I wondered “Is this our last chance to be able to talk like this?“, I felt sad that our conversation ended…

Originally,
we were supposed to look back from our auditions in 2002 to now during one recording,

but there wasn’t enough time at all(^◇^;)

We were finally able to look back at everything after 4 times

All together, the amount of time we talked was just under 10 hours( ゜д゜)

We talked so much I was like “Was it that longΣ( ̄。 ̄ノ)ノ”

But as expected, 13 years is a long timeヽ(;▽;)ノ
We have a lot of memories

The members’ faces when we were little sprung to mind when we talked about the past,

and it made me feel “Everyone’s grown up…“!

Since I thought it might be my last chance,
we talked about a variety of things frankly and without hesitation

I felt like there was a lot we were able to talk about now

Therefore, this conversation really precious to me

They’re not able to show it in its entirety on “Hello! Station”, so they decided to make a DVD version

This release, Saki and my talks, will be one of my treasures

Saki, thanks so much

There’s only 2 weeks until they suspend their activities, and I really can’t believe it at all,

but I will treasure our remaining timeく

I hope everyone is full of happiness to the very end…

Alright, today, February 19th,
℃-ute will have a NaruChika concert in the hometown of 4 out of 5 members, Saitama( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

I’m happy that we can have a concert in our hometown~(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

I feel like saying “Welcome to Saitama” to the people coming from far away(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

I’ll work hard so that it’s a fun concert(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

In addition,
today is Country Girls’ Morito Chisaki-chan’s 15th birthday(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

Happy birthday, Chisaki-chan(≧∇≦)

Her major debut is in March, so a variety of experiences will pile up for her this year

Don’t forget how your innocent heart is now,

and always remain the pure Chisaki-chan( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

I hope you have a wonderful year…
