Maimi wishes 2 of the newest Hello! Project members a happy birthday and shares an announcement about her futsal team in her February 10th update “Thanks…“. Full translation below.

Today is Nomura Minami-chan and Country Girls’ Ozeki Mai-chan’s birthday~( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

Nomura-chan is 15
Ozeki-chan is 13

Happy birthday you 2

Minami really sparkles when she stands on stage(o^^o)

Watching her dance with all her might and have fun on stage is really refreshing(^o^)/*

She was chosen for the new unit,
and the group’s name and a variety of other things will be decided later,

but a lot of experiences are going to pile up for her as a 15-year-old

It’s exciting
There are a lot of things she’s going to do for the first time and things that will probably perplex her,

but I hope she enjoys the year to its fullest

Ozeki-chan is 13-years-old~(o^^o)
We’re exactly 10 years apart♪( ´θ｀)ノ

It’s my secret dream to sing “16-sai no Koi nante” with Ozeki-chan when she turns 16…(^-^)

When I watched the member announcement of Country Girls on the YouTube program “Hello! Station”, I was surprised and thought “She’s really quick at responding~ She’s brave Amazing~Σ(￣。￣ノ)ノ”,

and since we started standing on stage together at concerts, I felt that she has a really athletic atmosphere(^-^)

She’s resolute when she does anything(*^^*)

And then, I can tell that she’s geninue and gives her all( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

I won’t be able to take my eyes off her as she grows

And then, I have an announcement

The futsal team I’m a member of, “Gatas Brilhantes H.P.”, will suspend their activities in March of this month.

All of the many Gatas supporters cheered for us for 11 years.

Thank you so much.

I haven’t been able to participate in practice for several years,

but when I think back, really nostalgic and fun memories come to mind.

I love to move my body, so each and every practice was fun

I’d feel frustrated at times,
I’d go with all of the Gatas members to observe a match between other teams,
we held events,
we played a midsummer game at Odaiba…
I also have nice memories of going out to eat yakiniku with everyone…

I’d always become soaked with sweat at practice…

Each of them were wonderful memories

I feel a little bit of sadness, but I feel a lot of gratitude to everyone who cheered for Gatas

I hope the day comes again when I can run after the ball and kick it with all of my might(^-^)
