Maimi and her fellow ℃-ute members hold a surprise party for another Hello! Project group in her January 30th update “Surprise(≧∇≦)“. Full translation below.

It was pure white outside when I woke up, so I was moved~(o^^o)

One of my older brothers is currently home, so since it snowed, he drove me all the way to the station this morning

Yesterday I had a recording with Okai Chisato-chan for “Downtown DX”

It’s our first appearance since the release of “Aitai Lonely Christmas”

Downtown’s jokes and retorts are impressive!!

I was nervous, but it became a really precious experience

When it gets closer to airing, I’ll announce it here

And then, afterwards,
something we had been planning for a long time came to fruition

℃-ute held a surprise party for Berryz Koubou, who will suspend their activities on March 3rd(≧∇≦)

Before hand we asked our manager and Berryz Koubou’s manager,

and they freed up a day in our schedules,
and made a fake schedule for Berryz Koubou

They thought they were going to an interview, and that’s where we sprung our trap(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

Everyone was really surprised, and they cried tears of joyヽ(；▽；)ノ

I’m happy

We’ve been together with Berryz Koubou for about 12 and a half years, but we’ve never all gotten together in our private time before,

so it really felt like a dream come true(//∇//)

 

We were able to have the surprise party due to the cooperation of many people(;_;)

We recorded comments from a lot of people, including Hello! Project members of course,

staff we regularly work with,

and our old managers who have since retired from the office

Suzuki Airi-chan edited them together, and it was over an hour long

As we were gathering the comments,
I thought “Berryz Koubou really is loved by a lot of people“

Everyone was sobbing at the many messages full of love, including the ℃-ute memberslol

It was heart-warming…

There are a lot of staff that have watched over us since we were little,

so for all of us they’re like parents~( ´ ▽ ` )

Before the surprise party, we were worried “Will they like it?” and “Do they suspect anything?“,

but everyone in Berryz Koubou were really delighted, so it was a huge success

The time Berryz Koubou and ℃-ute members spent together was really comfortable, and it was fun and full of happiness(o^^o)

I thought “I love Berikyuu” and really felt that the bonds we have are strong

I want to treasure each day without regret until March 3rd, and enjoy our remaining time together with all my strength

Let’s continue to work together
