Blog update: “Hajimete no Otsukai~ヽ( ;▽;)ノ”

Maimi finally gets to watch one of her favorite programs and introduces one of the Country Girls in her January 16th update “Hajimete no Otsukai~ヽ( ;▽;)ノ“. Full translation below.

(Note: “Hajimete no Otsukai” is a documentary-style program that shows young children being send out to complete their first errand on their own.)

Good afternoon
It’s Maimi

I finally watched it yesterdayヽ(;▽;)ノ

“Hajimete no Otsukai”

I love that show

My dad had recorded it at my request a little earlier,

and as I wrote in a previous blog,
I was reminded I had other plans on the day I planned to watch it, so I ended up not seeing it(>人<;)

Aaah…

“Hajimete no Otsukai” 25th anniversary special

The program started before I was even born,
so I felt “What an amazing history~“ヽ(;▽;)ノ

It was deeply moving seeing a person who appeared on the show as a child in the past send their own child out on their first errand…

And then, I cried countless times…(/ _ ; )

Children are more grown-up than grown-ups think~とか

Watching the part about the siblings,
I thought “Big brother is amazing“…

Even though he was feeling helpless,
he led his little brother and little sister by the hand…(/ _ ; )

There’s a lot of hardships and responsibilities the youngest child doesn’t understand~…(T ^ T)

It was similar to when I was little…>_<…

My 2 older brothers were always taking care of me,
and I walked between them holding their hands

When I fell into a deep pond, my brothers pulled me out,

and they told me “Wait here!” as they went to get my shoes that had come off in the mud

When I was crying “Mother~ Mother~。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。” too, they tried their hardest to get me to stop crying~…

Those memories are stuck with me…

My brothers gave me a sense of security during times I was worried or discouraged ~

Surely it’s the same for those children~…

I thought that while watching

And then, no matter the child,
they’d say things like “Mama~ Mama~…”, “I want to see Mama”, “Papa will be happy!”, and “Mama will probably like this“…

I was moved by how they were always thinking of Papa and Mama and how the thought of “I love Papa and Mama and want to make them happy” gave them power to work hard through the anxiety~(つД`)ノ

I was able to tell in the short time of the program “Everyone was raised with a lot of affection~“,
and I was filled with warm feelings as I thought “The children worked as hard as possible to return that affection~ヽ(;▽;)ノ

Alright Changing the subject,
my customary new member introduction

Today is Country Girls’ Morito Chisaki-chan
(1)

When I watched the moment Country Girls was announced on the YouTube program “Hello! Station”,
I thought “This girl is cute(*^^*)

Her and fellow Country Girls member Shimamura Uta-chan are always together, and their back and forth soothes me(o^^o)

During the course of an earlier conversation, I heard “It’s because Uta-chan is cute~…“,

and it made me think “No no, if you ask me, it’s because you’re both cuteヽ(´o`;

She always gets sweaty during a particular song in the concert,

and she fans herself with her clothes saying “So hotヽ(´o`;”
Even that is cute…lol

She’s cute, but I also think she has a freshness about her

There are songs during the concert where I perform with Morito-chan, so we’re gradually getting closer~~♪( ´θ`)ノ

I’ll write about anything that happens on this blog(*^^*)

Alright
FM-PORT’s “℃-ute Yajima Maimi no I My MeMaimi~” airs(*^^*)

Those who can, please be sure to check it out

Today the 2 new adults in ℃-ute, Suzuki Airi-chan and Okai Chisato-chan, have an event♪( ´θ`)ノ

Have fun, you 2~~(*^^*)
