Maimi introduces one of the new members of Morning Musume。’15 and celebrates all the people who have come of age in her January 12th update “Congratulations~ヽ( ；▽；)ノ“. Full translation below.

It’s Maimi

We had Hello! Project concerts yesterday(o^^o)

All of the performances had been held at Nakano Sunplaza since the start of the year,

and yesterday was the final performance there

There were 3 performances and a DVD filming

A lot of people participated yesterday, so I was really happy

Everyone who participated,
everyone who supported us even though you couldn’t, thank you very much

Well then, today’s new member introduction(*^^*)

Today is Morning Musume。’15’s Makino Maria-chan

Makino-chan was originally a Hello! Project trainee and participated in ℃-ute’s tour,

and she’s so innocent
You can tell she grew up carefree by how bright, cheerful, and honest she is

When everyone went out to eat after ℃-ute’s concert,

she copied her idol Hagiwara Mai-chan and tried to eat the dandelion on the side of the sashimi,

and it was cute when they both made bitter faces(//∇//)

I watched Morning Musume。’15’s appearance on “Dokkiri!” the other day,

and Makino-chan was so cute(o^^o)

How should I put it…
She has an abundance of facial expressions

The instant Morning Musume。’s new members were announced, which can be seen on the YouTube program “Hello! Station”, she had a really nice reaction

I think she’s really honest with herself about her feelings

And then, that girl is a really hard worker

During the rehearsals for the current Hello! Project concerts, she was always practicing by herself on the side

There were girls amongst the new members who didn’t have any experience dancing,
so I taught those girls the dances for particular songs!

When I did that, Makino-chan ran over to me, and proactively said

“Please teach Maria too“

That ambition made me happy

Makino-chan is also known for her love of baseball
Some day I’d like all the members of Hello! Project who like baseball to get together and play catch~(//∇//)

It’s my secret dream

Alright Changing the subject,
today is Coming of Age Day

Congratulations to everyone who has become an adult

From ℃-ute, Suzuki Airi-chan and Okai Chisato-chan have become adultsヽ(；▽；)ノ

Once again, congratulations you two

Weren’t there a lot of you who had coming-of-age ceremonies yesterday and today

There are probably a lot of people wearing furisode or are dressed up and are reuniting with their old friends at the ceremony~

We each only have one coming-of-age ceremony in our lives
I’m as happy about everyone’s coming-of-age ceremony as I was mine

Everyone, if we get the chance, please tell me about your ceremony some time(o^^o)

And then,
today is Mitsui Aika-chan’s birthday

Aika~~ Happy 22nd birthday

Aika is currently studying abroad, so we haven’t been able to meet recently,

but whenever I see Aika, who went overseas by herself and is learning a variety of things, I think

“How amazing… (>_<) Would I be able to do that?”

So I really respect Aika

I want to hear a lot about her trip when she returns
