Maimi introduces a bashful Country Girl as the Hello! concerts roll on in her January 6th update “Shy girl(// ∇//)“. Full translation below.

Good afternoon
It’s Maimi

We had Hello! Project concerts at Nakano Sunplaza again yesterday

There was only 1 performance yesterday,
and thank you to the people who participated even though it was a weekday and many were busy with their first day back at work

And then, thank you to everyone who supported us even though you couldn’t participate

Actually, I wrote in yesterday’s update that Berryz Koubou’s Natsuyaki Miyabi-chan was ill, and the results of her diagnosis were the flu.

Ogawa Rena-chan,
who was chosen to be in the new unit, also couldn’t participate yesterday because of the flu.

It’s unfortunate that all of Hello! Project is unable to stand on stage together,

but I think the people who are most frustrated are the members who can’t appear,

so I’m praying everyone gets well soon.

And then,
we’re taking precautions so that no one else will have to miss the concerts due to injury or illness

Everyone, the flu is going around, so please be careful and make it through the winter healthy

Backstage at the Hello! Project concerts, there’s catering where you can choose whatever you like,

and the nira and egg soup there was really, really delicious

The eggs were fluffy,

so without thinking, I asked the lady at catering “Please teach me how to make this soup(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))”

And then,
she told me “Take Weipa, nira, and eggs…”

When I asked “How did I make the eggs this fluffy??♪( ´θ｀)ノ”,

the lady looked apologetic as she said “Ah… I cooked the eggs too long(^◇^;) It was a mistake“

“No way! o(｀・∀・´ )o I like eggs like this”

…One of the female staff members was listening to that conversation,

and yesterday she called out
“Ah! I have a New Year’s gift for Yajima(o^^o)”,

and gave me some Weipa saying “Yeah Use this to make the soup“(T ^ T)

In addition, my name’s even on the can! lol

Ah I was happy(//∇//)

I already used some of it today to make Chinese soup(*^^*)

The eggs were fluffy too
Yeah
It was delicious(((o(*゜▽゜*)o))) It makes me happy to warm up with soup~(≧∇≦)

I’m grateful to the lady at catering for teaching me how to make it,
and the staff member who gave me the Weipa

Now I’ll do today’s new member introduction(*^^*)

Today I’ll be introducing Shimamura Uta-chan from Country Girls!

First, her name “Uta” is cute

And then, her face is really cute too

It seems her eyes are bad, so she wore glasses the entire time during rehearsal, and that was cute as well(//∇//)

She looks up to Miya (Natsuyaki Miyabi-chan),
and here’s a story from rehearsal…

There’s a song where Miya and Uta-chan stand in the same spot

Miya, unaware at the time that Uta-chan looks up to her, put her hand on Uta-chan’s shoulder during a part where we sing freely,

and Uta-chan hung her head unable to sing and frantically fanned her face with her hand!

It was funny and cute seeing Miya continue to sing cheerfully without noticing while Uta-chan couldn’t sing at all because of her shyness and happiness…

It had everyone talking during rehearsal! lol(//∇//)

It seems Uta-chan is really shy

There’s a song where she has some speaking lines,

and after she says them,
the audience shouts “WAAAAAAAH“, which causes her to become embarassed(≧∇≦)

Her shy behavior is cute too
Everyone coming to see the concerts,

please say “WAAAAAAAH” in a loud voice for herlol(￣▽￣)
