Blog update: “Reunionヽ( ;▽;)ノ”

Maimi heads to a year-end party after another Hello! Project rehearsal in her December 28th update “Reunionヽ( ;▽;)ノ“. Full translation below.

Good morning
It’s Maimi

We’ve finally reached the end of the rehearsals for the New Year’s Hello! Project concerts starting January 2nd(*^^*)

Yesterday we rehearsed the entire performance while wearing the outfits

When I think about it, the performance is only 5 days away~(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

I’m excited and nervous~\(^o^)/

Actually, at the start of December my close friend messaged me over LINE saying

“There will be a local year-end party on the 27th, and Maimi-chan can come~(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))”

But the dress rehearsal was scheduled for that day,

so I responded saying “Sorry I can’t go(>人<;)”

However
The rehearsal finished earlier than planned yesterday,

so I was like “Huh…? Am I able to go to this??“,

and when I contacted my close friend,
it seems she had plans beforehand too and was going to join the party in progress

I was excited to see my classmates again for the first time in awhile,
but since it had been so long, I was nervous wondering “What we should talk about~??(^^;;”…

My close friend and I met up and headed over

When I entered the restaurant, it had been so long since I had seen everyone…(T ^ T)

There were people I was reuniting with for the first time since we graduated 7 years ago

We were in the same class,
on the same team…

It brought back a lot of memories~ヽ(;▽;)ノ

It felt like we were back in middle school in no time at all

Everyone has their jobs, some are married, and their conversations and apperances are more grown-up,

but their expressions and reactions haven’t changed at all from the past, and it was like I was looking at a nostalgic scene

My close friend and I could only pop in for about 2 hours since we both had to work today,

but during that time, people kept showing up as they finished work

More people showed up than I had originally heard were going to, so it was like a class reunion(*^^*)

More than anything, I was happy to see that everyone was doing well and hadn’t changed( ´ ▽ ` )

When I returned home,
my mom asked “How was it??(o^^o)”…

She looked at the pictures of everyone while I talked,

and she zoomed in on each person and asked “Who is this~?(*^^*)”! lol

My mom knew everyone since she was on the staff when I was in middle school,

so she was really engrossed in looking at the pictures while saying

“Eh? This child…?? They’re all grown up(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))”,

and “Ah! This child looks the same~“(o^^o)

Everyone has supported ℃-ute since the past,

and ℃-ute was formed when I was in middle school,
so I was surprised that 10 years had passed since then

Everyone often comes to see our concerts on ℃-ute Day, September 10th,

and I finally got to show my gratitude to all of them♪( ´θ`)ノ

Some said “I’ll leave the date open next year~(≧∇≦)”

I’m a lucky to have wonderful friends

Now then, now then
I’ve seen a lot of parents with their children downtown since it became the end of the year,

and this morning, I saw a granny standing at the station by herself…

But then I heard a really cheerful voice in front of me( ゜д゜)

A little girl ran at her shouting “Gram gram(≧∇≦)“, and hugged the granny(o^^o)

The granny was grinning happily,
and the mother was watching and smiling too,

so I was feeling heart-warmed in the morning

I really love this kind of warm atmosphere at the end of the year

Everyone, please have a wonderful day(o^^o)

Well then, until tomorrow’s update~(o^^o)
