Maimi celebrates a sibling achieving their dream and reflects on the importance of everyone’s jobs in her December 20th update “Congratulations(((o(* ゜▽゜*)o)))“. Full translation below.

Good morning
It’s Maimi

Oooooooh(＞人＜;)
It’s so cold my hands are freezing!(◎_◎;)

Yesterday we had rehearsal for the Hello! Project concerts(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

Yesterday’s rehearsal was fun too~♪( ´θ｀)ノ

As expected, I enjoy singing and dancing(//∇//)

And then, something wonderful happened yesterday(//∇//)

I heard from my mom that following my other brother, my oldest brother has made his dream come true…(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

I always thought that the job my brother had up to this point was wonderful,

but one day he suddenly had a new dream…

While continuing to work, he started studying as well…

It’s amazing how hard people can work for the sake of becoming something(/ _ ; )

I think it’s really amazing that my brothers grasped their own dreams,

and I’ve received a lot of power from them(^o^)/*

I think there will be a lot of new difficulties that he will face, but I want him to have pride in his job and do his best

There really are a wide variety of jobs in this world,

and I think there are a lot that I don’t realize are there,

but I don’t think there’s a single job that doesn’t benefit people…

Each job has a meaning,

and there are people helped by it,
people who smile because of it,
people who are saved because of it…

The people who do get dirty doing construction work every day,

and janitors who clean the bathrooms everyone uses…

The security guards who stand in the cold the entire time…

There are a lot of occupations we can spot during our everyday lives,

and because of these people,
we can relax and live comfortably~

That’s how I feel

Once again, I’m grateful to everyone for working a variety of jobs in all sorts of places
Thank you for everything always

I think I have a job where I can make a lot of people smile

Therefore, I want to take pride in my job and continue to work hard(^o^)/*

Today I will get to meet a lot of people at our Christmas event(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))
