Blog update: “I love you(//o//)”
Maimi reflects on the previous day’s Budokan concert and finds herself in a bind while heading to a shoot in her November 12th update “I love you(//o//)“. Full translation below.
Good evening
It’s Maimi
2014.11.11
That day was like a dream
On the big stage called Budokan,
I had a concert I love with the members and everyone I love
Even the people who couldn’t participate sent a lot of affection to Budokan…
I was wrapped in a warm atmosphere,
and my heart was overflowing with the feeling of “Thank you.”And then, I wrote in an earlier update that there’d be a happy announcement at Budokan,
and what
Next year on the 10th anniversary of ℃-ute’s formation,
June 11th……
We will have a concert at Yokohama Arena。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。
(

I’m really happy(T ^ T)
Without everyone’s support, our dream of an arena concert wouldn’t come true
Thank you so, so, sooooooooooooooooo much!!!
The view at Budokan was the best,
and it made me really happy, but Yokohama Arena is an even bigger venue
What will I be thinking and what will it feel like when I stand on that stage~?
I was deeply moved by Budokan, so what will it be like when I stand on stage at Yokohama Arena…
I won’t know until I actually do it,but I was overcome with emotion the moment the announcement was made
Everyone’s expressions looked as if you were saying “We’re glad~
“, and that warm atmosphere filled with that affection made me really, really happy
A variety of things have happened since ℃-ute’s formation, so I want to stand on stage at Yokohama Arena and show my gratitude for everyone whose support has enabled us to continue for 10 years
June 11th next year is a weekday,
but I’ll be happy if you free up the time nowEveryone, let’s celebrate ℃-ute’s 10th birthday together(//∇//)
There was a happy announcement like that at our Budokan concert,
and this time the members gave a variety of opinions about things like the set list and productionIdeas like “We want to use a fireball during this song
”
and “We want to sing this song“…
Amongst those ideas, one of the members came up with something like this
℃-ute’s 2nd solo tour…
It was 7 years ago,
and there was a video that aired during a concert back thenIt was a reaaaaaally surreal video of us earnestly eating at a conveyor belt sushi bar,
and it was suggested
“Why don’t we try doing everything exactly the same??
(o^^o)”
Everyone was on board(^o^)
We filmed with the same cameraman,
at the same store,
in the same seats,
in the same situation,
and even wearing similar outfitsWhat about us has changed after 7 years…?
The videos were shown side-by-side,
and actually, I didn’t like sushi 7 years ago,
so the things I could eat were limited(^◇^;)Therefore, I earnestly kept eating steamed shrimp, which was something I really loved(^^;;
Well, my love for steamed shrimp hasn’t changed even after 7 years,
but I’ve grown since then,
and I love sushiI’m able to eat maguro tuna and sea urchin now,
and I ordered chuutoro tuna
I’m really happy when I eat chuutoro~
How many people at Budokan yesterday saw the video in real-time 7 years ago…??
I think there are more people now who didn’t know about us then than those who did
We met a lot of people after that tour,
and we are supported and cheered for by so many people that we’re able to perform at Budokan now…
I really am happy that I’ve been able to meet everyone…
There are a lot of people who don’t know about ℃-ute still,
but maybe I will meet them in the future…
At next year’s concert at Yokohama Arena,
and if we get to stand on stage at Budokan again, I hope team ℃-ute is even bigger and bigger~
Like in the song “Big dreams”,
I want to continue to make everyone happy with my smile
I thought that once again at the Budokan performance
I really, really love everyone。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。
Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart
And then, please continue to support ℃-ute

That’s right,
my grandmother came from Iwate to see the Budokan performance(//∇//)She was really moved,
and she looked happy reading the fan letters from everyone at my houseIt was my grandmother’s first Budokan concert
I’m happy that she could see me standing on stage at Budokan
And then, the Budokan concert finished, and today arrived
I did it again for the first time in a while…_| ̄|○
Today I had a shoot in Asakusa for the “℃-ute Yajima Maimi no Yajimap Sweets Sugyou no Tabi” segment in “UTB+”,
but I forgot my cell phone at home…
I realized it as I was riding on the train…_| ̄|○
I had the details for the meeting place and time in LINE on my phone,
so since I was unable to contact anyone,
I was really worried about if I could get to the meeting place!(◎_◎;)Luckily I was able to find a pay phone,
and it was my first time using a pay phone in as long as I can rememberI couldn’t remember my mom’s cell phone number clearly,
but when I turned the dial like
“Is it like this~??(>_<)”,
I miraculously reached my mom,
and she got in contact with the staff for me,
so I was able to meet up with everyone_| ̄|○I cause problems even though I’m 22-years-old…_| ̄|○
I’ll work on it!
During the shoot, I rode a rickshaw~♪( ´θ`)ノ
It seems the driver knew ℃-ute,
and he said “I want to try going to a concert someday
“,
so I told him about our concert at Yokohama Arena
o(^▽^)o
I said “It’s on a weekday though~…
“,
but he said “It’s alright, I’ll go
“(*^^*)
I’m happy~o(^▽^)o

Everyone in Asakusa and at the shop were friendly and funny
I bought a lot of gifts for my grandmother,
and she was already eating the okaki while saying
“Delicious~” just a moment ago
I’m glad
♪( ´θ`)ノ
This update has become really long, so I’ll write details about today in tomorrow’s update
o(^▽^)o

I really wanted to update this morning with my feelings of gratitude about Budokan…
I’m sorry for updating late…
I hope everyone finds a lot of happiness tomorrow…
