Maimi heads to a Morning Musume。’14 concert and learns of the new members with the fans in her October 1st update “Announcement~(=´∀｀)人( ´∀｀=)“. Full translation below.

October starts today∑(゜Д゜)
There’s only 3 months remaining in the year

Each day is really flying by(^◇^;)

Yesterday, on the last day of September,
we went to watch Morning Musume。’14’s Nippon Budoukan performance(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

The 12th generation members were announced, and the venue was full of excitement

We had no idea which girls passed the audition and how many would join,

so our hearts were pounding too~(^o^)

The new members that were announced are
Ogata Haruna-chan,
Nonaka Miki-chan,

and then, from the Hello! Project trainees,

Haga Akane-chan,
Makino Maria-chan

Aaaah
There were a lot of surprises

Everyone appeared wearing white one-pieces, and white really suits them

Maria-chan has participated in a ℃-ute tour before, so I know what she’s like,

but I’ve only watched Haga-chan during Hello! Project concerts thinking

“She’s such a small and cute girl~“,

and I knew nothing about Ogata-chan and Nonaka-chan, who joined Hello! Project after passing the audition…

 

However, Haga-chan’s calligraphy is 7th level,
Ogata-chan can figure skate,
and Nonaka-chan can speak English…

Everyone’s special skills made a big impact(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

I’m looking forward to finding out what everyone is like through interacting with them,

and I’m both nervous and excited to see how those innocent girls will grow up

Like the existing members of Morning Musume。’14 said,

we’re motivated by the new members,
and our resolve not to lose to the evolving Morning Musume。’14 and the other groups was strengthened

On the current Morning Musume。’14 tour, they perform a mix of old and new songs

Hearing those old songs for the first time in awhile,
I was filled with nostalga and started feeling a little strange

Seeing the members’ expressions on the big screen, I thought that they had become adults~

 

And then,
the glowsticks lighting up Budoukan were beautiful and moving even from the audience

Much to my delight, the special finale of ℃-ute’s tour will be held at Budoukan on November 11th,

so while watching yesterday’s concert,

a variety of images came to mind like “Aaah I want to do something like this I want to do something like that“…

I must show my gratitude for being able to stand on that stage again

I want to put on a concert that everyone enjoyso(｀・∀・´ )o
