Blog update: “Aomori ~Mori Mori~(^O^)”

Maimi tries her hand at designing a mascot and heads to Aomori with ℃-ute in her September 27th update “Aomori ~Mori Mori~(^O^)“. Full translation below.

Good evening
It’s Maimi

During the FM-PORT program that broadcasted yesterday,
“℃-ute Yajima Maimi no I My MeMaimi~”,

there was a letter that read “Why don’t you try designing a mascot for the program??♪( ´▽`)”,

so I sketched a few during the broadcast♪(´ε` )

Here is the finished character(Left)

(1)

I gave the character a cherry motif,

and there’s a heart in the program’s title, so I put hearts on the character’s cheeks…

And the finishing touch was making the character’s clothes my image color, red(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

…Or so I thought,
but I wanted to try thinking about it a little more before it aired…

Since the radio program is in Niigata,
I thought, “I’ll try a Niigata-esque rice theme♪( ´▽`)”,

and the next I came up with was
(1)’s right

Thinking “How about if I combine them??♪( ´▽`)”,

I drew these

(2)

…I’m sorry for the sloppy looking drawings…(^◇^;)

As I was drawing I couldn’t figure out which expressions and the like were best_| ̄|○

I’m indecisive… Aaah…( ;´Д`)

…That’s why,

………Somebody!?!?

Help meΣ( ̄。 ̄ノ)ノ

Everyone, which do you like???
Pleaaaaase tell me for reference

Now then, now then, changing the subject,
today we appeared at “SHOCK ON 2014” in Aomori(//∇//)

(3)

It’s a festival to enjoy Aomori’s food and music,

so the venue was bustling with a variety of artists and their fans,

and there were lines of food carts

Since fans of a variety of artists were there,

I was able to tell from the venue’s atmosphere that there were a lot of people learning about and seeing ℃-ute for the first time

That atmosphere was fun too

I hope that more people became interested in ℃-ute due to this festival

And then,

there were probably people who usually can’t come and meet ℃-ute, but were able to see us since we went to Aomori,

weren’t there??

I’ll work harder and harder so that we can go to Aomori

There were also probably people who came to Aomori from afar…

Everyone who participated,
everyone who cheered for us, thank you so much

After the concert, everyone wandered around the carts~(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

There was fluffy shaved ice,
corn tempura,

and ah Also,
there was Hagiwara milk

Everyone got that as well

I’ll attach the picture tomorrow

I enjoyed both the concert and the food

Ah There’s still a lot I want to write about… so I’ll continue in tomorrow’s blog

Well then, let’s have a wonderful day tomorrow

Until tomorrow’s update(//∇//)

  1. The “Mori Mori” in the title means something along the lines of “full of gusto”.
