Maimi shares some happy news and checks out the latest Hatagumi play in her September 26th update “Long update…m(._.)m“. Full translation below.

Tsunku♂-san, Hello! Project’s producer, announced on his blog that his throat cancer has gone into complete remission

I’m really relieved

I’m grateful that I’ll continue to be able to sing the songs and stories Tsunku♂-san makes,

and I want us to be able to give courage and energy to everyone

Tsunku♂-san, please continue to take care of us

And then, please take care of your health

 

Now then, now then, after that really wounderful announcement,

I had a really fun experience yesterday…

I had a photoshoot with Hagiwara Mai-chan for “UTB” in the morning(≧∇≦)

I can’t wait to see the finished product

It will appear alongside “℃-ute Yajima Maimi no Yajimap Sweets Sugyou no Tabi”,
which was shot the other day,

in volume 224 of UTB which goes on sale October 23rd, so please be sure to check it out

All of ℃-ute gathered after the photoshoot,

and we were interviewed for the issue of “TOP YELL” that goes on sale October 6th

We were interviewed individually about the future of Hello! Project

And then,

yesterday was the broadcast of the final episode of the BS-TBS regular program “℃-ute no Challenge TV”

We were given various challenges in the program each time, and each and every one was a really good experience

I learned a lot

The staff of the program,
and then,
everyone who looked forward to checking it out each time it aired,
and everyone who cheered for us, thank you so very much

We’ll work hard so that ℃-ute can appear as regulars on a program again

 

Changing the subject,

just now,
I went to see “Ishikage-sama, Kyoto ni Ikutte Yo ~Seishun Bakuretsu Hen~”,

a play by Hatagumi, who I worked with for “Ran” and “Taklamakan”

It’s the second volume of the “Ran” spinoff,

and I saw the first one as well,

but at any rate, I laughed lots and lots(≧∇≦)

I felt like I laughed non-stop(//∇//)

The tempo of their conversations,
the wording of the lines, the breaks…

All of the actors’ movements and expressions were funny(≧∇≦)

As they were dripping with sweat, they showed everyone a reaaaally fun time

I was happy that I could meet Hata-san, who I worked with on “Ran” and “Taklamakan”, the staff of Hatagumi, and all of the actors for the first time in awhile(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

Each and every time I go,
I always think “I’m glad I came and watched” after the performance

Hatagumi will also have a play in December

“Kuru Kuru to Shi to Shitto”
will run from December 3rd to 11th at Higashi Ikebukuro Owl Spot

Appearing in this play are my costar from “Taklamakan” and office senior Niigaki Risa-san,

Kikkawa Yuu-chan,

and Hello! Project trainees Yamagishi Riko-chan, Yamaki Risa-chan, and Aikawa Mao-chan

I’ll also be participating in the talk show on the first day(≧∇≦)

Beforehand I promised Niigaki-san

and as I was looking forward to watching it,
I was told I’d be appearing in the talk show, so I’m really happy
