Maimi reflects on her two days with Berikyuu at Nippon Budoukan in her September 11th update “Precious friends(= ´∀｀)人( ´∀｀=)“. Full translation below.

Today was the 2nd day of Berikyuu (Berryz Koubou X ℃-ute) performances at Nippon Budoukan

Berryz Koubou were the main performers,

and as expected, they’re an army of clear weather girls

After yesterday’s performance,

Tsugunaga Momoko-chan, a.k.a. Momochi, declared “I’ll clear up the skies tomorrow(￣^￣)ゞ”…

Unbelievably, she was true to her word

The rain here stopped before the performance,

and I was moved thinking “As expected, Berryz Koubou are able to do it~“lol

It was a wonderful concert overflowing with smiles that were as radiant as the sun

 

Next spring, Berryz Koubou will stop all activities indefinitely.

 

Their smiles looked as if they were reflecting on Nippon Budoukan and the atmosphere of the venue

 

I’ve noticed that Berryz Koubou’s smiles make me tear up…(ノ_＜)

It’s strangeヽ(；▽；)ノ
Even though they’re smiling, it makes me cry…

Berryz Koubou have a lot of things ℃-ute doesn’t and they’re always dazzling,

so the feelings of aspiration and frustration we got from them became our energy

 

Berryz Koubou’s concerts are overflowing with playfulness and their desire to have a fun time…

When I see their faces as they’re playing around together,

though they won’t say it themselves,
I can tell that they’re a really close group

Along with the playful side,
their presence and aura is really cool

Each of them have entirely different personalities,
and it’s really overwhelming when all of them get together(・ロ・)

The instant they appear,
the venue lights up,

and I think “How showy~“

 

I’m proud to be a member of the same generation as Berryz Koubou

When we passed the auditions together 12 years ago,

I never would have imagined that we would have such a long future together

Even though so much time has passed,

my memories of having lessons and spending our days together when we were still one group called Hello! Project Kids haven’t faded from my heart

Times we fought,
times we played around too much and the staff got mad at us…

They’re incidents that make me think
“We were really childish~(^◇^;)” when I look back now,

but they really are my precious treasures,
and I never want to forget them

 

I’m really happy that we can do things like this together again as adults,

and doing it for 2 days at Nippon Budoukan really feels like a dream come true

During the performances yesterday and today,
singing together as Berikyuu brought back a variety of memories,

but they’ve always been close to us,
so I still can’t imagine them not being there

Therefore,
I want to continue to laugh together as usual for the remaining time…

Because I love smiling Berryz Koubou

I hope they continue to smile from here on…

 

I was able to stand on stage with the precious friends I love,
so the last 2 days have been full of happiness

Thank you so very much for these 2 dreamlike days

I’m full of gratitude for everyone who has watched over and supported us

 

℃-ute is overflowing with motivation after the Budoukan performances

 

Immediately after leaving that happy place,
the members said “We want to stand on stage at Budoukan again(>_<)”,

 

and much to our delight,

we will return to Budoukan on November 11th for the finale of our autumn tour which starts September 21st

We want to repay everyone’s support with all our might
We want to show our gratitude

That is ℃-ute’s feeling right now

Rehearsal for our autumn tour has restarted, and so that we can return everyone’s love, we’ll work reaaaally, really hard(//∇//)

We’ll have a wonderful tour
