Maimi keeps rehearsing for the upcoming tour and catches another artist’s concert in her August 28th update “aiko-san(// ∇//)“. Full translation below.

Our autumn tour starts September 21st
Yesterday we had a “block rehearsal”(*^^*)

In a “block rehearsal”, we rehearse everything in blocks from one MC to the next

We went through the entire thing while reviewing the positioning(//∇//)

The concert is gradually taking shape(≧∇≦)

I’m happy

I must practice the parts I messed up and absorb it into my body(*^^*)

And then, after rehearsal,
we had practice for this tour’s challenge

Every one of us got the hang of it since the last practice(^o^)/

 

We were all really happy that we’re able to do it now

We decided “We want to do it cooler(｀・∀・)“,

so we practiced on our own,

and we also asked our trainer “How can we become better at it?(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))”…

The atmosphere was really fun

Practice finished in the evening,

We went on a field trip to aiko-san’s concert(//∇//)

It was so fun

First, doesn’t her voice steal your heart

Her singing voice is thoroughly beautiful(//∇//)

She moved around the stage carefree,
I could really tell she was having fun singing,

even though she was moving around so much her voice never wavered,

and I could clearly hear even her breathing,

and once again I felt
“These are the nice things about concerts”

The ambiance of the live band was also really amazing,
and I was naturally swept up~

I was also carried away by aiko-san’s influence,
and I shouted a lot

I felt really at home during the MCs too

I was shocked when she said
“Now I’ll create a song off the top of my head!”Σ(￣。￣ノ)ノ

In addition,
she said “Please give me words to make the song with“,

and from people she picked in the audience, she got the 6 words

“Yamanashi”
“Curry rice”
“Hair-cut”
“Pink”
“Flower shop”
“Divorce“,

and improvised a song with them(゜０゜)

I was impressed

She created a story with completely unrelated wordsヽ(；▽；)ノ

I was moved by how I could imagine the scenery in the story and see the world of the lyrics,
so much so that I would’ve never thought the song was made just then

Another nice thing is that since it was improvised,
it’s a song that only those who came to the venue on that day will get to hearヽ(；▽；)ノ

The title was “3 Million to 4 Million”! lol

The story behind the title is amazing too~(≧∇≦)

While talking to the person who suggested “divorce“,

aiko-san asked the audience “Is there anyone here familiar with the law?”…

There was a lawyer there,

and as she was asking him a variety of questions, the phrase “3 million to 4 million” appeared,

so it became the titlelol

The conversations that unfolded between her and the fans felt as natural and were as funny as can be(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

aiko-san also has reaaaaaaally good eyes, and no matter how far away the fans were,

she’d choose them like “Alright, you with the short, blonde hair……”,

and that definitely had to have made those fans happy

Even the people who unfortunately weren’t chosen probably think

“She could really see us over here too”

 

Seeing aiko-san bow deeply and say
“Thank you.” after each and every song made me think
“What a wonderful person”

The final MC was moving~

We greeted her after the concert,
and even though she was tired, she talked to us a lot and presented us goods…(T ^ T)

I’ll wear it in today’s practice

I really respect her as both an artist and a person

I want to be someone like aiko-san who doesn’t forget her gratitude to people no matter how many years pass…

I learned something from every part of the concert

I’m happy that I was able to go and watch。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。
