Blog update: “Challenge!!。・゜・( ノД`)・゜・。”

Maimi, her fellow members, and the fans set new world records in her August 23rd update “Challenge。・゜・( ノД`)・゜・。“. Full translation below.

Good evening
It’s Maimi

Yesterday we filmed the last of BS-TBS’s “℃-ute no Challenge TV”(´・Д・)

Time has flown by since the day ℃-ute were announced as BS-TBS’s campaign idols at Akasaka BLITZ…

We were given a regular program called “℃-ute no Challenge TV”,
and true to the title, we took on a variety of challenges

I’ve grown in various ways on this program,

and for the final challenge, we returned to Akasaka BLITZ where it all started,

and took on the final challenge of the program( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

The theme was
“Shoot for the world record”,

so we challenged some Guinness world records(≧∇≦)

First, our noon challenge was

“Most people passing an egg in a relay”,

and we had to pass an egg around on a spoon without touching the egg

Since the goal was the most people,
the audience participated as well,

and we passed an egg between 259 peopleヽ(;▽;)ノ

In order to qualify for a Guinness world record,
there were a variety of rules,

like the people who passed the egg would have to continue to stay in line,

and everyone participating had to remain standing until the egg reached the last person

Even though it takes a considerable amount of mental strength to pass the egg around without dropping it,

everyone has to use their physical strength to keep standing until the end too(;゜0゜)

All 259 people had to meet those conditions, so it was a considerably difficult challenge,

but after an hour and a half, we were able to pass the egg around without any problems。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。

It was really moving

The other members said
“No egg has ever been treated as preciously by so many people before“,

and it’s really true( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

Everyone passed the egg along so carefully so as not to drop it

Since we went through such trouble,
we should enjoy eating it♪( ´θ`)ノ

I think I’ll use that egg to make spam onigiri for the members(//∇//)

And then, the second challenge was

“Most people passing snacks around in a relay”

We worked together with everyone in the audience in this one too,

and we handed out snacks to everyone while being careful not drop or break any,

and we were able to set a splendid new record with 346 people(//∇//)

There were also people in the audience cheering for us,

and being able to succeed in the challenge with everyone, including them, made me reaaaaaally happy

When I think about it,
this program started with the cooperation of everyone filling out surveys,

so I’m really glad that we were able to do the final challenge with everyone as well

I hope that no one will break our record,
and that we’ll all continue to hold it

I’m grateful to the staff, the judges, and the many people who helped make this possible

It will broadcast later,
and I want everyone to be sure to check out the final episode

Everyone, thank you so very much

Thanks to this program,
I was able to learn a lot of important things

Unfortunately, the filming part of the program is over,
but I want ℃-ute to continue to take on a variety of challenges and keep growing

Aaalright
Today at Iidabashi,
we had polaroid and handshake events for our new single “The Power/Kanashiki Heaven (Single Version)”

Everyone who participated,
everyone who supported us,

thank you very much

It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to have conversations with everyone, so I received a looot of power

There are more tomorrow,

so I’ll write about it more in tomorrow’s update(*^^*)

Well then, well then, let’s have a wonderful day tomorrow

Good niiiight

Please be absolutely sure to check out the serial page “℃-ute Yajima Maimi no Yajimap Sweets Sugyou no Tabi” in “UTB”, which goes on sale today
