Maimi’s vacation with her close friend continues as the 2 travel to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in her July 30th update “Kyoto→Osaka(o^^o)“. Full translation below.

Good afternoon
It’s Maimi

Today I’ll talk about my 2nd day of vacation

Yesterday we went to Universal Studios Japan in Osaka

The attractions and streets at USJ have a “Harry Potter” theme right now,

and that area was incredibly crowdedΣ(￣。￣ノ)ノ

But they recreated a lot of places that appear in the movies, and it left a big impression on me(≧∇≦)

Those who are familiar will recognize it
It’s Hagrid’s house~＼(^o^)／

It felt like Hagrid would appear saying “Yaah(o^^o)”, so I was excited

There’s also an attraction where I played a game of quidditch with Harry and the gang

That was amazing
I was flying through the air(≧∇≦)

It was non-stop excitement(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

However, it was so crowded that the wait for the shop was 2 hours,
so we gave up on that(´・Д・)」

I heard that they were selling a variety of interesting things, so I had been looking forward to it f^_^;)

There were people passing by who had brooms

I rode a lot of other attractions besides the Harry Potter ones too

I also rode on thrill rides for what feels like the first time in awhile

That feeling of the inside of your body floating…
I hadn’t experienced it in awhile(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

It was rea~lly fun

It was my close friend’s first time at USJ, and she said
“It’s rea~lly fun I love USJ“

I’m glad

She struggled over what souvenirs to buy as well~o(^▽^)o

“That’s cute
Ah This is cute too“, she’d say…lol

 

The 2 of us have been indecisive ever since we were young(o^^o)

When I was watching my close friend,
it felt like I was watching myself(^-^)lol

She’d say things like “Hey, which of these do you like better´д` ;”,

and even though we were in line for the register, she’d say “Ah, as expected, I want that thing I decided not to get earlier( ；´Д｀)”

When the 2 of us ate ramen,

she was really torn between shio and shouyu flavors,
so she asked a waiter “Which is popular?(´・Д・)”,

and even though they responded “Shouyu is the most popular“,

she said “Hmm~ Alright, I’ll get shio(＞人＜;)”…

There was no point in asking~~(゜O゜)＼(- -;

Well, I’m the kind of person who is often asked “Why’d you ask then?(゜O゜)＼(- -;”, so I can’t say anything(^◇^;)lol

We talked about elementary school and middle school while we ate,

and it brought back a lot of memories like “Oh yeah, that happened(^◇^;)”~

 

The 2 of us were exhausted from all the walking,
but it was a rea~~~lly fun 2 days

And then, today’s the 3rd day of summer vacation
Right now I’m relaxing at home

Just a moment ago, I thought “One of the sofa pillows is moving up and down on its own∑(゜Д゜)”,

but when I lifted the pillow,
Cologne was sleeping soundly underneath

My pet dogs are cute today too
