Maimi goes to see a spin-off of one of her legendary plays and makes a surprise appearance at a birthday event in her May 23rd update “Fulfilled(// ∇//)“. Full translation below.

Good morning
It’s Maimi

 

Yesterday, in Shimokitazawa,

I went and saw “Ishikage-sama, Kyoto ni Ikutte yo”,

a spin-off of Hata-gumi’s play “Ran”, which I stared in(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

I could hear the sound of the Tsugaru shamisen the instant I entered the theater,
and I was overflowing with nostalgia

When the lights went down,
a familiar song played…

I thought to myself “Ah… This is a song from ‘Ran’…。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。”,

and flashed back to that scene

There were also nostalgic lines and scenes during the play…

It tugged at my heart…。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。

My seat was close to the stage, so I got the full effect being able to see the actors and actresses’ minute movements and expressions clearly(^^)

Each and every role was unique, and I laughed lots and lots(≧∇≦)

A lot of my co-stars from “Ran” and “Taklamakan”, another Hata-gumi play, appeared in this play,

so after the performance, I went and talked to them for a tiny bit backstage(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

I’m happy that I could meet them for the first time in awhile

Above all else, everyone seemed to be doing well(*^^*)

On the way back, I stopped at a store in Shimokitazawa and bought tapioca yogurt red grape juice(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

The tapioca was springy,
and it was delicious

After the play,
I secretly went to the birthday event of Berryz Koubou’s Tokunaga Chinami-chan,
whose birthday it was yesterday(≧∇≦)

I wore the uniform which Chinami designed for the event goods

The staff said
“Let’s have you appear as a surprise(￣+ー￣)”,

and so my surprise appearance was planned in a hurry(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

I stood by holding a bouquet of sunflowers,
Chinami’s favorite…

Hehehehe……(￣+ー￣)

At a part when a song was supposed to play,

I came out saying “Chinami~~~♪( ´θ｀)ノ” and surprised both Chinami and the fans(^o^)

I wore a pair of shoes from Chinami’s birthday goods which matched the uniform(#^.^#)

Then I joined the audience,
and enjoyed the event with all of Chinami’s fans(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

I laughed a lot while watching and thinking “As expected, Chinami is funny(≧∇≦)”♪( ´▽｀)

Something that surprised me was that the voice of the MC coming from backstage was Chinami’s sister(゜o゜

It was wonderful(^o^)/*

While Chinami was seeing off the fans,

I waited in the dressing room with Chinami’s sister and mother,
who also came to watch,

and when I asked her sister
“Were you nervous?( ´ ▽ ` )”,

she responded “I was nervous at first, but it was fun~ This is an experience that people usually don’t get to have Going backstage” and seemed really satisfied,

so even I felt happy

“Didn’t you really want to sing?( ^ ^ )/”, her mother revealed(≧∇≦)♪

She’s brave just like Chinami~♪( ´▽｀)Hehe

After Chinami came back,
we took a picture together(*^_^*)
