Blog update: “Sengoku Jieitai (* ・へ・*)ゞ”

Maimi completes one of her culinary challenges and takes in a play starring the Berryz members in her May 14th update “Sengoku Jieitai (* ・へ・*)ゞ“. Full translation below.

Good afternoon
It’s Maimi

Tada~~♪( ´▽`)
It’s finished

The sponge cake(^o^)/*

(1)

When I returned home yesterday,
I put whipped cream on the sponge cake,

decorated it with strawberries, kiwi, and bananas,

sprinkled it with powdered sugar,

and lastly, covered it with maple syrup,

and it was done~

Hehe

It was rea~lly delicious, if I do say so myself(^o^)/*

I could eat it nonstop

My mom and dad also ate some,

and told me “Mm It’s delicious~♪( ´▽`)”

I’m glad

Next time I think I’ll try coffee sponge cake

Now then,
I had the day off yesterday,

so I went to see the musical starring Berryz Koubou members,

“Sengoku Jieitai”(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

Even though I heard rumors about it,
I was surprised that e~veryone was playing a male role∑(゜Д゜)

Shimizu Saki-chan…
Her role is really nice(´Д` )
I was moved when she talked about her father(T ^ T)

There was also a scene where I wished I was watching closer to the stage( ´θ`)ノ
Her breathing was good~

Her lines were rea~lly easy to comprehend too(^o^)

Tokunaga Chinami-chan…

I was surprised when she talked with the deep voice of a male, even though she normally has a high voice
More than anything, I was surprised she played someone who has a child(O_O)lol

Chinami’s role was cool
He was sincere and loyal I felt he was a reassuring friend

I was on the edge of my seat thinking “Don’t die! Don’t die!(>_<)”

Sudou Maasa-chan…

I always think this, but Maa speaks from her center, so her voice is really loudp(^_^)q

Her oblivious character was funny, and her lines made me laugh countless times(//~//)
Her character was impossible to hate

Natsuyaki Miyabi-chan…

She played a strong role who had confidence and was cool~

She used expressions she doesn’t normally, so I watched while thinking “That must be difficult~…”, but she made a really great guy(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

There were scenes where she’d occasionally fire off retorts, and the way she said them was perfect

Kumai Yurina-chan…

She was the only member of Berryz Koubou whose role wasn’t a member of the self-defense force,

and she played Uesugi Kenshin, who lived during the Warring States period Her outfit suited her well and she shone during the sword fight since she’s so tall

Her role was modest and kind, and she was really, really cool in the final scene

Sugaya Risako-chan…

Her role had inner conflict,
and her lines and facial expressions convey complexity

I watched while thinking “Risako is good at controlling the strength in her lines~

There are times when one is too quite or mumbles, so it’s difficult to hear,

but it’s never like that with Risako, and she was forceful as expected when she emphasized her lines… She brought out the feeling in them( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

After the performance was over,
Momochi, a.k.a. Tsugunaga Momoko-chan, appeared,

and she made everyone laugh just by appearing! lol

During the after-talk as well, she got the entire theater riled up♪───O(≧∇≦)O────♪
As expected

And the gap between the members’ roles and their true selves…(^◇^)

The people seeing Berryz Koubou for the first time must’ve been surprised thinking
“Huh? They’re really girls like that“(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

They made me laugh a lot too♪( ´▽`)
It was fun(*^^*)

There’s also sword fights, so I think it’s really difficult, but I hope they progress to the closing day without any injury or illness

Do your best today too(o^^o)

Well then, well then, I’ll upload pictures I took when I intruded on their dressing room~
