Blog update: “Fluently~(((o(* ゜▽゜*)o)))”

Maimi’s visited by fans from overseas at a ℃-ute event and yearns to become fluent in English ahead of their next event in Paris in her May 3rd update “Fluently~(((o(* ゜▽゜*)o)))“. Full translation below.

Good morning
It’s Maimi

It was hot all day yesterday~(´・Д・)」

Every time I saw someone on the street wearing a suit,
they looked hot I thought

“Poor them…ヽ(´o`;”

I left the house without a coat yesterday,

but it still felt comfortable when the evening came

Yesterday,
I first had a recording for the FM-PORT program that airs every Friday at 10:00PM,
“℃-ute Yajima Maimi no I My Me Maimi~”

(1)

I learned about everyone’s experiences and their impressions of our concerts,
so it was rea~lly fun

Afterwards,
I figured that I’d go to Starbucks and have a fresh banana & caramel cream frappuccino…

As expected, they were sold out this time…
The fresh banana & caramel cream frappuccino is popularΣ( ̄。 ̄ノ)ノ

…That said, the name is really long…(;^_^A lol

Since it’s hot, it seems there’s a lot of people buying it…

I took it as a sign “Don’t drink this“,

and left the store(^◇^;)

I hope I can have one next time(>人<;)

Afterwards,
I met up with Hagiwara Mai-chan,

and we had a recording for “Asian Beat”

We talked about the Berryz Koubou and ℃-ute event in France in July

During that conversation, we said “We’d like to learn how to speak English since it’s considered the common language of the world“,

and later,
at the handshake event at Nippon Seinenkan,

there were countless people who came from overseas,

and I thought “I really wish I was fluent at times like these…(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))”

But listen, I can understand their feelings anyways

Even though it was English, I could pick up words here and there,

and understood “Ah This is what they’re trying to tell me“,

and I was glad I was able to communicate with them

It was just a little,
but I was able to respond with some English…

Their eyes lit up happily as if so say “Whoa“, and they responded back in English

There are a lot of members of team ℃-ute overseas who are studying Japanese,

so I want to do my best to study English as well

I went to an English conversation school and took English lessons in cram school when I was an elementary school student, but…

It didn’t stick with me~(・_・;

A~h… I want to give it another shot

Everyone, are you confident in your English~?
How did you learn it?

Please be sure to teach meσ(^_^;)

I think it’s difficult to come to Japan from overseas,
so thank you very much for coming!

I hope that I can go to everyone’s countries someday

And then,
as I wrote earlier, there were a lot of people who came to the event in business suits after work

As expected,ヽ(´o`;

Ah~, thanks so much

It seems there are people who are on break for Golden Week,

so I hope everyone enjoys the time off to its fullest(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

Everyone who came to meet us after work and school finished,

everyone who spent their precious free time to come meet us,

everyone who cheered for us even though they unfortunately couldn’t participate,

thank you so very much

Everyone’s smiles gave me a lot of power,
and since I was able to talk to everyone, it was a really fun time

Alright
It seems today will be hotter than yesterday( ̄O ̄;)

There’s a concert at Nakano Sunplaza, and I’ll probably sweat more than ever at today’s concert f^_^;)

Everyone who is participating, please stay hydrated

Well then, the second half of Golden Week…

I hope everyone has a wonderful day…

Lastly, pictures of our concert outfits

Today at 1:45AM to 2:10AM,
℃-ute will appear on TV Tokyo’s “God Tongue”

※The broadcast time will change if the “Table Tennis World Championship 2014” runs long

It’s late, but please be sure to check it out
