Maimi commemorates the 7th anniversary of ℃-ute’s major debut, follows the adventures of the F.B.I.’s fringe division, and spends time with her family in her February 21st update “The 5 of us…(*^^*)“. Full translation below.

It’s Maimi

Today, February 21st,
is the 7th anniversary of ℃-ute’s major debut(^o^)/*

Seven years ago today,
we debuted with “Sakura Chirari”

When I look at pictures from back then,
everyone is so thinΣ(￣。￣ノ)ノ
And really, really small(・Д・)

I can feel the passage of time

That said, I haven’t changed as much as the other members(;^_^A

Even now I have cherubic features(^-^)/

Our next single coming out on March 5th will be our 24th,

and in 7 years we’ve released 24 singles…

At first we had a lot of cute songs, but in these 7 years we’ve gotten to sing a variety of songs, like balads, rock songs, and mature songs

There are a lot of people who learned about and started supporting ℃-ute recently,

so I wonder if there are few people who knew about us when we debuted,

but 7 years later, a future like this was waiting for us~

I’m grateful for my encounters with everyone

And then, I’m grateful to everyone who has been involved with and supported us during these 7 years

℃-ute will continue to dash forward from here on(*^^*) Please come along with us

Changing the subject,
yesterday I had a recording for the FM-PORT program that airs every Friday at 10:00PM,

“℃-ute Yajima Maimi no I My Me Maimi~”

Thank you for the many messages♪───Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ────♪

The recording time was rea~lly fun

After the radio, I had one more job

It finished earlier than planned,
so I went shopping for a little bit,

and returned home(^o^)

My brother returned from Singapore 3 days earlier,

and yesterday, my grandmother suddenly came to our house(≧∇≦)

My brother went by bullet train to get her in the morning,

and when I returned home from work,
e~veryone had gathered at my house

I went out to eat with my grandmother, my parents, my brother(^o^)

Unfortunately, my oldest brother wasn’t there,

but it was the first time in awhile 5 of us have driven together

When we were little,
five of us, my parents and my 2 brothers and I, would always travel together in the car going to my grandmother’s house or on a trip,

so I started feeling nostalgic

When the 3 of us sat in the back in the past, we had a lot of elbowroom since we were small,

but now we’ve grown up, so it feels more cramped than it did in the past when we all ride in the car(^◇^;)

But I’m happy all of us could go and eat(^o^)/*

After returning home,

I took a bath,
wrote the day-before-yesterday’s update,
and watched 4 episodes of the overseas drama “Fringe” at once in the living room~

I fell asleep before I knew it,
so my mom woke me up and said “Go sleep in your room“,

and I moved to my bed,

and I had a dream about what I had seen happening in “Fringe” just before((((；゜Д゜)))))))

A~h, once again I felt, how should I put it,
simple?… easy to influence?…(^◇^;)

With the momentum I had,
I woke up and watched the remaining 2 discs

I was surprised how I was able to watch all 6 discs in the set at once,

and Nakajima Saki-chan has the second boxset, so I’ll borrow it from her

And then, tonight at 1:02AM~,

I, Yajima Maimi, finally appear on the TV Tokyo program
“Urero☆Mitaiken Shoujo #7”

We only rehearsed on that day

There was an audience for the performance,
and it was filmed without cuts like a play

I was so nervous it made me think “It’s been a long time since I’ve been this nervous“,
but it really was a good experience

…Or should I say, it made me think that the regular cast who does this every week is really amazingΣ(￣。￣ノ)ノ

I’m nervous to watch it as well(^◇^;)
I’ll properly check it outσ(^_^;)
