Blog update: “Sanadajuuyuushi( ・ω・)”

Maimi takes in a play with Airi and spots some familiar faces in her January 31st update “Sanadajuuyuushi( ・ω・)“. Full translation below.

Good afternoon
It’s Maimi

Yesterday I went to see the play “Sanadajuuyuushi” with Suzuki Airi-chan

(1)

While watching TV earlier,
they showed the practice for “Sanadajuuyuushi” during a report,

and it made me think “Wow I want to see this“(^O^)

It has an amazing cast and an extremely large scale set,
and I was surprised when I heard it took 10 billion yen to makeΣ( ̄。 ̄ノ)ノ

I was astonished by the production, which used a variety of devices

And then, I took notice of the sword fight

A violent battle unfolded on top of a set that spun around,

and it looked good from every angle…(°ロ°)
It moved at a speed my eyes couldn’t follow,
and it was a highlight of the play

In order to make the sword fight look big, their stances were so wide it looked like their knees would touch the floorΣ(・□・;)

There was something else that surprised me and Airi

Yokoyama Kazutoshi-san, who I appeared in “Ran” and “Taklamakan” with, appeared in the play

I’ve seen a variety of plays with sword fights in them,
and I’m always surprised to see Yokoyama-san appear♪───O(≧∇≦)O────♪

Once again I was moved thinking “Amazing

In addition,
Murai Ryouta-san, who co-starred with me in “Ran”, appeared in this play too

His role was completely different than his frivolous person character Shoutarou in “Ran”, and I was able to study by watching him play a variety of roles like this(^^)

The thing I felt most when watching this play was its tempo♪

The tempo was really nice, the conversations were smooth,

and the way the lines were split up and the pauses caused a lot of laughs(^O^)

The play was 3-and-a-half hours with an intermission,

but it felt like it passed really fast

It’s amazing that the cast does that every day

I hope they can make it all the way to closing day without any injuries

After the play, I said bye bye to Airi and went to rehearsal for the birthday event on February 5th, 6th, and 7th with Nakajima Saki-chan and Hagiwara Mai-chan

(2.3)

I’ve got to properly review yesterday’s rehearsal

It was a 4 hour rehearsal,
but it was over in the blink of an eye,
and I wanted to practice more

I’m nervous and excited…( ^ ^ )

I’ll do my best to make it a fun event(^o^)/*

Alright, right now ℃-ute is in the middle of a shoot

I’ll go back to the shoot in high spirits
