Blog update: “Congratulations, Nacky”

Maimi enjoys some novel release events and congratulates the new adult Nacky in her January 14th update “Congratulations, Nacky“. Full translation below.

Good afternoon
It’s Maimi

Yesterday we had a serial event at Shinagawa Stellar Ball for “Tokai no Hitorigurashi/Aitte Motto Zanshin”(uvu)

There were 3 performances,

and we performed a different song at each performance which we haven’t performed for a rea~lly long time

I wondered “Will the people who became fans of ℃-ute recently know this song?(^^)”,

as it’s been so long since we performed them that I don’t know how many years it’s been(;_;)

There was the song we sang as 5 members for the first time since we had members graduate,

and together we had to fix the formation, remember the choreography, and redistribute the lines…

I was nervous to perform it(^^;;

At the same time, I was really happy everyone could see and hear us perform the song again for the first time in awhile, and it made me feel nostalgic

In order to remember the choreography,
we watched an old dance lesson video,

and everyone was so young and small…/(//∇//)

Even the outfits we were wearing at the dance lesson made me feel nostalgic(´-`).。oO(

One of those tiny members became a new adult today…

Everyone celebrated after the event, and Nacky’s expression of delight was rea~lly cute

Before the performance, the staff suddenly disappeared, and everyone looked for them while wondering “Where’d they go

And when the staff returned,
Yajima noticed them hiding a paper bag( ̄▽ ̄)

They prepared a coming of age present for Nacky(^o^)

Luckily, Nacky didn’t notice it…

While we were celebrating after the performance, I said

“When we were all wondering where they went before the performance, they we preparing“,

and Nacky responded

“Is that so(つД`)ノ I’m so happy Let’s take a picture with everyone All of the staff please get in the picture too

We took a wonderful picture

Once again, I felt that she’s really loved by e~veryone

And then,
there were a lot of people who came to the event after their coming of age ceremony

There were people in suits and long-sleeved kimono

Everyone’s fresh faces were wonderful(^^)

I was really happy that I was able to see all of the new adults…(*^^*)

In addition, during the girls-exclusive first event, we asked “Where’d everyone come from?”,

and there were people who came from places like Osaka and Hokkaido, so I was really grateful(T ^ T)

That’s right
The atmosphere in the girls-only event is different than usual,

and everywhere I looked there were girls,
so it felt a little strange

For starters, it’s been a rea~lly long time since we’ve had a girls-only event

There were girls even on the second floor,
and I was surprised thinking “There’s this many girls in team ℃-ute( ゜д゜)

And then, it also made me really happy

I want us to become a group loved by men and women of all ages

And then, in the 3rd performance,
there was a corner where we took questions from everyone,

and we were asked a variety of things
Thank you to everyone for being brave enough to raise their hands

Everyone whose questions we didn’t answer, I’m sorry

If there’s another chance, please try asking again

I was really happy that we were able to have dialogue with everyone in the venue like that

Everyone who participated in the event, everyone who supported us from afar, thank you so very much

Alright
Let’s have fun and do our best today

Well then, until tomorrow’s update
