Maimi enjoys release commemoration events with fans in Nagoya before heading to Hiroshima for Hello! concerts in her January 12th update “Nagoya→Hiroshima\(^o^)/“. Full translation below.

It’s Maimi

Yesterday in Nagoya,
we had release commemoration polaroid and individual handshake events for the new single “Tokai no Hitorigurashi/Aitte Motto Zanshin”

There were a lot of people who said “Happy new year” at both the polaroid and handshake events

I’m happy that I’ve been able to meet a lot of people this year too

There were a lot of people at the polaroid event who arrived at the seat saying “Aah I’m nervous(°_°)”,

but were you able to take a picture with a wonderful smile?

There were also a lot of people participating for the first time at the handshake event

I thought “They learned about ℃-ute somehow, and came to meet us like this“, and it made me really happy

It was really fun talking to everyone
The time flew by

Everyone who participated, everyone who supported us…

Thank you so much

During my free time, I worked on drawings and writing comments for goods,

and there’s a lot of things I had to finish before the 14th and 15th

Surprisingly, it’s right around the cornerΣ(￣。￣ノ)ノ

Splendid I finished e~verything
My file for the things I had to do is empty

It’s refreshing

The things I drew and comments I wrote yesterday will be on goods someday

today is Mitsui Aika-chan’s birthday

Happy birthday, Aika

Speaking of Aika, I wrote about it in an earlier update,

but she’s studying abroad

I think it’s cool that even though she’s younger than me, Aika decided to go overseas alone, and I respect that…

She will experience a culture different than Japan’s, so I think her way of thinking and sense of values will change

For Aika, it seems like it’ll be a challenging year full of motivation…

It’s a little sad to think that she isn’t in the same Japan as us anymore…(u_u)

But I’m looking forward to Aika coming back in good spirits and telling stories of her experiences as an exchange student(^^)

Today we have a Hello! Project concert in Hiroshima

 

I’m glad we can go to Hiroshima again this year

℃-ute will go to Hiroshima during our spring tour,
so I’ll work hard as a ℃-ute member so that everyone who participates today will think

“Ah I think I’ll try going to ℃-ute’s solo tour”,

and as a Hello! Project member,
I want to put on a performance that makes everyone think “I’m glad I participated” and “That was fun“

I’ll do my best full of energy today

part of our illumination concert in Odaiba on December 29th will be shown on Fuji TV’s “Odaiba kara Mirai he! 5539 Fuji TV! ~Kagayake! Chouzetsu Illumination Daisakusen~”(u_u)

being held on January 13th (Mon.) at Shinagawa Stellar Ball in Tokyo
