Maimi welcomes the new year and looks forward to the Hello! Project concerts in her January 2nd update “Starting today…(＾Ｏ＾)“. Full translation below.

Good morning
It’s Maimi

Thank you for the ma~ny New Year’s Eve and Day comments

I could feel everyone’s love and kindness,
so I was rea~lly happy

 

I slept so much yesterday that I wondered
“Will I be able to probably sleep?” as I got into bed,

but I was able to sleep soundlyσ(^_^;)

Everyone, have you had your first dream of the year

During a~ll the time I slept yesterday,
I feel like I had a dream, but I can’t remember it…ヽ(´o｀；

And then, speaking of New Year’s,

every year my grandmother sends us walnut sauce,
which I eat with o-mochi

I had some this morning, and it was as delicious as expected(T ^ T)

It seems like it takes a really long time to make, so I’m really grateful(;_;)

My grandmother will come here in a little while

She lives far away so we can’t regularly meet,
so I can’t wait

 

And then, the annual Hello! Project concerts start today

When I think about meeting a lot of people,
I become excited(((o(*゜▽゜*)o)))

I will enjoy it with all my might

He’s usually in the sun room, but he was waiting for me in the entranceway when I came home on New Year’s

It seems he’ll be staying in the house with us for awhile

When he went to get a shampoo, they put a scarf on him that suits New Year’s, so he looks very pleased
