Maimi braves the fierce weather and spends some quality time with a close friend in her December 20th update “I didn’t know…Σ(・□・；)“. Full translation below.

Good evening
It’s Maimi

There was a hail storm todayΣ(・□・；)

It happened just as I had finished recording the last episode of the year for FM-PORT’s “℃-ute Yajima Maimi no I My MeMaimi~”,

and I was shocked when I went outsideΣ（゜д゜lll)

I got pelted by hail while I was walking, and it hurt…(；´Д`A

But I felt like I got to see something rare, so it was exciting

The FM-PORT program airs every Friday
It’ll air later today at 10:00PM,
so those who live where you can listen to it and have the time, please be sure to check it out

And then, I had yesterday off,
so I was spending the entire day at home,
but my close friend and I suddenly decided to go out to eat,

and we went out around 5:00PM(^-^)

Again our conversations bloomed

We talked about a lo~t

Even though we were always together in elementary school, there were a lot of things I didn’t know

Something that surprised me was that when we were moving up from elementary school to junior high school, she wanted to go to different school so she could pursue ballet!((((；゜Д゜)))))))

“I had no ideaΣ(￣。￣ノ)ノ”

“Yeah(^^;; I didn’t tell anyone~

But I’m really glad that I went to the same junior high as everyone(^◇^;)”

The junior high she wanted to go to is really popular, and it seems they have a lottery before the exams because there are so many people taking them

She didn’t get past the lottery stage

“I don’t have the courage to jump into a place where I don’t know anyone, and I hated the idea of seperating from everyone…… So I was really relieved when I didn’t get inσ(^_^;)” she said…

 

Certainly, our relationship wouldn’t have continued like this if we had gone our seperate ways…

Above all, I become really lonely when I think about not going to junior high with her(>_<)

That girl reached her goal of becoming a ballet dancer,

and retired from ballet dancing saying

“I gotten to where I am now, so I have no regrets!“,

and now she dreams of becoming a nurse,

and said “I’m grateful for all my experiences up to this point…”

Certainly~…

If she had been chosen in the lottery,
she would have passed the exam, and she’d continue ballet even now…

“Speaking of, why did you start to take ballet in the first place??” I asked

“A~h, when I was in kindergarten, my teacher’s relative was a ballet instructor…

She encouraged me saying ‘○○-chan, I think you’d be good at ballet… Why don’t you come to my studio once?’

And I went there with my mother, but the teacher was scolding everyone, so my mother thought ‘Ah…(^^;; She’ll probably say she doesn’t want to do this~…(^◇^;)’,

but I said ‘I’ll do it(^o^)/*’~ε-(´∀｀; )”

We’ve known each other for 16 years, but it’s the first I heard that(*^^*)

We talked for about 4 hours, and there were so many stories that made me go “Eh?Σ(・□・；) Is that so”,

that I can’t write about all of them here

As expected, hearing a variety of people’s stories is really fun

People live various lives, huh~

It was a fun, fun time

She’ll become a nurse in the spring, and it seems she’ll be rea~lly busy, so we won’t be able to meet as often as now,

so I’m glad we were able to meet and talk a lot

I gave her the DVD of ℃-ute’s Budoukan performance as a present,
and she held it against her chest with both arms the entire time

She came to see the concert on the actual day,
and she got swept up in the cheers around her and cried aloud “Aa~~~(TロT)”lol

this morning she told me “I watched the DVD and was sobbing(；＿；)” via LINE…(＾ω＾)

 

I’m really happy( ´ ▽ ` )

I’m sad we won’t be able to meet,
and being a nurse seems like a job with a lot of mental and physical strain,

but I want her to do her best and not give up

I will cheer for her with all my might

The release of the third edition of ℃-ｕｔｅ’s Alo-Hello! photobook, which we shot while in Hawaii in November, has been decided~

It will go on sale January 25th (Sat), 2014

“Alo-Hello! ℃-ute 2014” photobook (Making-of DVD included)

The theme this time is “cute, stylish, and a little grown-up”
