Blog update: “I’m home, Japanヽ( ´ー`)ノ”

Maimi triumphantly returns from her trip abroad in her July 8th update titled “I’m home, Japanヽ( ´ー`)ノ“. Full translation below.

I’m ho~me
It’s Maimi

All of ℃-ute has returned safely to Japan

I’m sorry that I couldn’t update the blog

My first time in France…
The streets were stylish
E~veryone was kind
The bread was delicious…

It was a really wonderful place

There’s a 7 hour time difference with Japan, so it felt strange…

When I was eating dinner in France, the sun was rising in Japan…

It really hit home how far away we were

It’s not a place I can easily go back and forth from, so I was really glad that I could go this time

Members of team ℃-ute from a variety of countries outside of France gathered there too, so team ℃-ute had an amazing worldwide-feeling when I saw them from the stage

I had known that there were members of team ℃-ute all over the world, but when I actually met them I thought

“Ah…(*´д`*) These people are always supporting ℃-ute from far away…“,

and I was really moved that we could meet

Of course, there are a lot of people all over the world that couldn’t come…

But going to France this time made me feel again that there are a lot of people cheering for us in places we can’t meet too

Thank you for always supporting ℃-ute with your warm cheers

It was my first time going to France, and the thought of having a concert there made my heart pound

“What kind of atmosphere will the venue have

“Will they be able to understand the French I practiced

…But the instant I stepped on stage, all my anxiety was blown away

Honestly, I was surprised by their enthusiasm

There were countless people who watched the concert as they cried and covered their mouths with their hands

Everyone studied Japanese, and they’d applaud or react whenever we’d say something

At the worldwide handshake event, everyone tried their hardest to convey their messages to us,

and I was really moved

I’ve been told that Japanese is really difficult… Everyone is really amazing…

I understood you perfectly
I was really happy

And then,
℃-ute’s trip to France was covered by

Nikkan Sports,
Sport Nippon,
Sankei Sports,
Tokyo Chunichi Sports,
Sports Yomiuri,
and Daily Sports

I was really happy they came all the way to France to take photos and interview us

In addition, we appeared on French TV and in French magazines

I’m really thankful

I’m grateful to the many staff members too

Going to France this time,
my feelings of “I want to go meet team ℃-ute in a variety of other countries” became even stronger

In order to do that, ℃-ute has to grow

℃-ute will keep running forward

Now then…

Even though I feel it’s late(°∇°;)

I’ll do a time diary of the first day of Japan to France…

July 2nd
6:37PM (Japan time)

Taking a bath this early feels really fresh(°∇°)

It’s still bright outside!!

Now then, am I forgetting anything
I’ll check one last time and then leave

9:54PM
All of ℃-ute has gathered
Everyone’s in a festive mood, so it’s funny

There’s a girl who brought 2 suitcases,

and Chisato brought a massive amount of bath powders…(lol)

She pulled out some rose-scented bath powders and said “Isn’t it rich“…(lol)

And then… Chisato had her clothes on backwards… (lol) That’s so her…( ̄▽ ̄)

12:16AM
Before departing, I updated the blog one last time

Leaving Japan makes me feel lonely

Everyone, we will go increase team ℃-ute and then return safely・゜・(つД`)・゜・

I’m off

July 3rd
7:55AM (France time)

We’re in the car on the way to the hotel
My cellphone was configured to work in France(^.^) That’s a relief

It’s raining in France~(゜´Д`゜)

And then, there was an incident where I went to watch a movie on the plane, but my headphone adaptor was bent…

I… I didn’t do anything to break it o(T△T=T△T)o

When I told the flight attendant, she replaced the headphones,

and I watched the movie, but this time there was no sound…O(><;)(;><)O

At first I thought
“Is it this kind of movie(・o・)”

and read the subtitles in silence…

I realized “No… this isn’t right…(;¬_¬)”, and told the flight attendant,

and in the end, I changed seats(;´Д`)

Yaji didn’t break anything~(T^T)

11:29AM
In my hotel room…

I took a nap to get over my jetlag, but I slept in a strange posture, so my shoulder hu~rts(ToT)

In my dream, I was helping the staff by carrying around 3 kilograms of equipment for some reason( ̄。 ̄;)

Now then, I’ll get ready to go out

That’s the end of the time diary I’ll write about what happened after I went out and other stuff little by little later

There are a lot of things I want to tell you since I couldn’t update the blog at all~( ̄▽ ̄)

Sorry for writing such a long update as usual(°∇°;)

Please support us again starting tomorrow

À bientôt~
(See you later~)
