Blog update: “Fukuokaヾ(^ ▽^)ノ”
Maimi spent the prior day in Fukuoka doing two of her favorite things, performing and eating, in her June 24th update “Fukuokaヾ(^ ▽^)ノ“. Full translation below.
Good morning
It’s MaimiYesterday was ℃-ute’s tour in Fukuoka
Until now we’ve had our performances in live houses,
but this was our first solo concert in a hall
I was worried “Can we properly fill the seats~
“,
but there were a lot of people all the way to the top of the venue, so I was really happy
There was a period where we couldn’t go to Fukuoka, and I felt bad for everyone there…
So I’m really happy that recently we’ve been able to go to Fukuoka and meet everyone in team ℃-ute there more often
We will go to Fukuoka again for the Hello! Project concerts and ℃-ute’s fall tour, so I hope I can meet everyone in Fukuoka again then
And then, thanks to everyone who came from far away,
and everyone who cheered for us even though they couldn’t participateOnce again, I thought “Concerts are fun
”
Whenever I see everyone’s smiles, I’m really happyAh
That’s right
Yesterday I ate a lot of Fukuoka’s specialtiesWhen we sing “Kono Machi” during the current tour,
we use the arranged lines submitted by everyone which mention things from your hometowns,
and “mucchan manjuu” was in the lines during the Fukuoka performances,
and when I asked the local staff
“What’s mucchan manjuu(・o・)”,
they said “It’s like mutsugorou-shaped taiyaki……… Ah
I’ll buy some
“°・(ノД`)・°・
And then, there was mucchan manjuu in the dressing room
(

So this is what they meant by “mutsugorou”~(^∀^;)
I was totally imagining Mutsugorou-san…(°∇°;)
I looked that mutsugorou in the eyes…
(I’m going to eat you~)
In addition
Hello! Project trainee Tanabe Nanami-chan is participating in ℃-ute’s tour,
and during an MC
she said “I’ve never eaten hakata ramen
“,
and the local staff heard that and ordered hakata ramen too
(

Everyone enjoyed it
Thank you very much
Also, also, this morning I ate the mentaiko I bought as a souvenir
It was as delicious as expected~
The day before the concert,
I also ate motsu-nabe…I was able to fully enjoy Fukuoka
(
3)
Now then, the last remaining performance of the ℃-ute tour is the finale at Pacifico Yokohama this weekend
It’s fast~O(><;)(;><)O
It’s been 5 years since we’ve been to Pacifico Yokohama… My heart’s pounding
I want to have the best finale possible
Well then,
let’s have fun and do our best todayUntil tomorrow’s update
p.s.
Before our concert yesterday,
we went to the ℃-ute room at JOYSOUND’s Nissekimae storeEveryone wrote on the panel curtain
Please be absolutely sure to visit the ℃-ute room

“Mutsugorou” means mudskipper, but Maimi thought it was “Mutsugorou-san”, the pen name of zoologist Hata Masanori.
