Maimi recaps the previous day’s Hello! Project concert and congratulates Berryz Koubou on their Budoukan performance in her May 20th update titled “I’m sorry(>_<)“. Full translation below.

I apologize for not being able to update yesterday

Yaji’s doing well today(・∀・)

Yesterday,
we had the concert

“Hibiya Yaon 90-shuunen Kinen Jigyou Hello! Project Yaon Premium LIVE ~Soto Fest~”

The liberating feeling of outdoor concerts is nice

 

I was in a good mood thinking

“The weather is nice, and perfect for a concert~(^-^)”

……But it was too good to be true…┓(￣∇￣;)┏

 

It rained unexpectedly…

On top of that, the rain was synced with ℃-ute’s performance in the evening(￣□￣;)!!

It started raining when we appeared,
and it stopped when we left…(=_=;)

 

During rehearsal, when the sun was still shining brightly, Tsunku♂-san asked

“It’s not gonna rain today, is it~(*￣ー+￣)?”,

and I responded

“It won’t rain~(。-∀-)“

After the performance…

Tsunku♂-san looked happy as he said

 

“It rained as expected~( ￣▽￣)lol”(-“-;）

 

The other Hello! Project members and staff said the same thing to me a lot too…(・ε・｀ )

I felt bad for the fans…

But… I’m glad it was just light rain and not a heavy downpour~…f(^_^)

The glowsticks outdoors at night were the most beautiful~

And then, at this concert,
we debuted ℃-ute’s NEW single
“Adam to Eve no Dilemma”

Actually, this NEW single is a double A-side,

and we will debut the other song,
“Kanashiki Amefuri”,

at the performance of “℃-ute Concert Tour 2013 Haru ~Treasure Box~”

held on May 26th (Sun)
at Nihon Tokushu Tougyou Shiminkaikan
in Aichi prefecture

Today we had the first dance lesson for “Kanashiki Amefuri”…

On November 29th (“Ii Tsunku♂ no Hi” according to Tsunku♂-san),

Berryz Koubou will perform at Nippon Budoukanヽ(≧▽≦)/

When we went to perform “Chou HAPPY SONG” as Berikyuu (Berryz Koubou x ℃-ute),

the music suddenly stopped,
and Tsunku♂-san came out,
much to our surprise((((゜д゜;))))

Even on this blog,
we’ve often talked about ℃-ute and Berryz’s dream of performing at Budoukan recently,

and it came true for both of us°・(ノД`)・°・

When the announcement was made, Berryz Koubou’s captain Shimizu Saki-chan started crying…

I knew about Saki’s feelings from what she told me in e-mails, so I could imagine what she was feeling inside…(/_・、)

Today Yajima had a gravure photoshoot for the cover and featured spread in “Shuukan Spirits”,
along with a particular person from a particular group

It’s my third time appearing in “Spirits”, so I’m really happy

Everyone on the staff is really kind, and after the photoshoot they casually placed “Chocola BB” in Yaji’s bag(≧∀≦)
