Blog update: “Last teens”

Here’s the translation for Maimi’s 11/21 blog update, titled “Last teens“:

Good morning
It’s Maimi

The weather is really nice today
The whole sky was filled with stars last night too

It was really, really pretty, and I could see a lot☆ The night sky in winter is nice

Everyone, please try looking up tonight

Now, yesterday we had a joint concert with Berryz Koubou in Nagoya

For Berryz Koubou’s Shimizu Saki-chan, it was her last performance as a teenager

And for us, it was our last time to stand on stage with a teenage Saki

We were able to celebrate with everyone

Since Saki’s member color is yellow, the whole venue was filled up with yellow glowsticks, and it was really moving

It was a warm place~

I saw the message from the audience “Thank you always“,

and I thought, with that little body, Saki gives a lot of people spirit and happiness~

She’s loved~ Saki

Usually, Berryz Koubou and ℃-ute do things seperately, so we’re unable to celebrate with everyone like this,

but at the turning point of 20-years-old, standing on the same stage with everyone who is the same age, and then celebrating with all of the of fans, I’m really happy…

But, but, yesterday’s venue was a large place with four floors of seating,

and it was filled all the way to the back of the fourth floor

I was really happy,
and certainly Saki was happy that a lot of people came to celebrate too

Saki’s tears indicated it

The noon performance, the evening performance, everyone who came to watch Saki’s final teenage performance, thank you very much

Everyone who couldn’t come, but cheered from wherever you are too, thank you very much

Ahh It was Saki’s celebration, but I was grateful to everyone again too

A lot of people support us every day,
and it’s made us who we are now…

Today’s picture is with pre-20 Saki

Ah… Will you listen a little

I can’t meet Saki on her actual birthday, so though it’s early, I gave her a present yesterday

Then, Saki wrote
“Happimizu!!” and posted it on her own blog

Not just that
I heard from my mom

“I’m glad that it seems Saki-chan likes it~ She wrote ‘I got this‘ and sent a picture to mama

I’m also happimizu~

An even happier thing,
Saki put on the present I gave her at once And she wore it during the concert(ToT)

Thank you Saki

Saki has always been like that
She’s always kept a paper charm I made and gave her in elementary school in her purse

Saki treasured it like that so much~

I love that Saki

Saki’s birthday is tomorrow, so today is really, really her last teens

I want her to spent it with a lot of happiness and without regret

Right
I’ll write my feelings to Saki in my blog on her birthday tomorrow

Though it seems like it’ll become long, I’ll write lots and lots

Well then, let’s enjoy today too

p.s.
Today at 10:30PM on the live broadcast of

  1. “Happimizu” is my attempt at translating “ureshimizu”, which is a combination of “ureshii” (happy) and “Shimizu”, Saki’s last name.
